Donald Trump is avoiding the media as much as possible during his embarrassing, mistake-filled first trip abroad.

Since leaving on this first foreign trip as president one week ago, Trump has visited multiple countries in the Middle East and Europe and discussed many issues that will affect the lives of millions — without answering any questions from the press following him.

Journalists have taken notice of Trump’s cone of silence.

ABC’s Jonathan Karl said he’s “never seen” a president take a multi-nation foreign trip without taking questions from the media. The Wall Street Journal’s Carol Lee also noted that presidents usually hold “many” news conferences on foreign trips.

At the meeting of the G7 in Taormina, Italy, reporter S.V. Date took a photo showing scheduled press conferences scheduled for multiple nations including Japan, Italy, and Canada, with the glaring omission of the United States.

But this avoidance of the press is not altogether surprising, as the trip has not gone well at all.

After years of attacking President Obama for supposedly bowing to world leaders, Trump bowed and curtsied to Saudi Arabia’s leaders.

His commerce secretary praised Saudi Arabia’s lack of protesters, apparently unaware that it was due to that country’s lack of free speech rights.

And America’s allies in the NATO alliance laughed and whispered as Trump embarrassed himself with a clueless speech, whining about the organization and the member nations who do not, in Trump’s incorrect view, pay up properly.

Trump may also be avoiding questions about why the FBI is now circling the son-in-law he installed in a position of power as part of their inquiry into his campaign’s connection to Russian election sabotage.

Trump built his media brand on constantly cozying up to the press, but now that there are monumental consequences to his actions, he’s staying as far as he can from tough questions. Once he’s back stateside, his team may find it more difficult to keep that cone of silence intact.

Trump has a problem. If he doesn't talk to the press, he gets hammered.

If he does talk to the press... he fucks up.

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't...

I think his NATO comments were particularly embarrassing. It was similar to when he accused Germany of owing the U.S. massive amounts of money earlier this year, displaying complete ignorance of how NATO funding works. Each nation is supposed to fund their own military up to 2% of their own GDP and they have until 2!024 to do it. It's not like they are going to be sending that money to some sort of NATO central bank and I would have hoped that someone would have explained that to that moron after the last time, but apparently not as he displayed the exact same ignorance about how money works in NATO this time also! Is he just plain stuck on stupid?

Plus not to even mention Section 5 when the only time it has ever been invoked was when the U.S. was attacked on 911 and every single NATO nation sent troops to help with the invasion of Afghanistan and many of them lost soldiers too! Instead he was lecturing the other NATO countries in complete ignorance about how they are supposed to be doing their fair share, scolding them for not doing their part while not having any idea of what he was talking about, while he was actually standing in front of a large piece of twisted steel that came from one of the twin towers destroyed on 911! What a fucking idiot!

Now I bet they can live with the payments produced by that amortization schedule. LOL  Just kidding.  Don't get your feathers ruffled.

But, what do we have here?

Well....

Amazing! Trump Cuts US Debt by $12 Billion In His First Month

By comparison, under President Obama, the US Debt burden increased by more than $200 billion in his first month in office.

Your turn.

Sixpick, please point out the instances where Trump took questions during trip. Just blurting "fake news" doesnt cut it.

You're just pissed Trump isn't allowing the Liberal Press in Europe to beat up on him like the Fake MSM does here, but it is funny to watch old YouTube videos of Obama in Germany with his good friend and ally Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, whom Obama hacked standing on stage with him condemning other countries for doing the same thing.

It's hard to listen to too much of his BS.  The man takes way to long to say way too little.  It really gets boring fast.  And Obama has meddled in numerous countries politics over the last eight years.  The USA has meddled in numerous countries politics long before Obama.

As far as Trump not having a press conference overseas, I don't blame him.  Merkel has positioned German culture to it death and the media doesn't represent the people any more than it does in the USA.
