This week's Liberal Media Scream features a classic example of just how shocked the biased Left press is when the public doesn't fall in line behind ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, as well as their view of the world.

Talking about a new poll on key national issues, the leader of the pack, NBC's host of Meet the Press Chuck Todd, appeared dumbfounded that the public is choosing Republicans over President Joe Biden. When a talk show host uses the phrase "believe it or not," you know he doesn't.
"Republicans, believe it or not, have double-digit leads in dealing with border security, inflation, crime, national security, the economy and, shockingly, on 'getting things done,'" Todd said on his Sunday show discussing a new NBC News poll.
Todd led Sunday's Meet the Press on NBC:
"We have a brand new NBC News poll out this morning that's filled with some scary news for the Democrats. The overarching message: Americans have lost their confidence in President Biden and their optimism for the country, at least, they have right now. Just 22% of adults say we're headed in the right direction. A shocking 71% say we're on the 'wrong track' and that includes a near majority of Democrats who are saying that.
"President Biden's approval rating stands at a dismal 42% versus 54% who disapprove. Believe it or not, just two months ago, Mr. Biden was in positive territory — 49% approving and 48% disapproving. So, what's pulling down the president's numbers? Well look at his set of numbers: Just 37% say he has the ability right now to handle a crisis versus nearly a majority who say he does not. Thirty-seven percent also say he's competent and effective as president. Fifty percent disagree with that description.
"What's more, Republicans, believe it or not, have double-digit leads in dealing with border security, inflation, crime, national security, the economy and, shockingly, on 'getting things done.'"
Brent Baker, vice president of research and publications for the Media Research Center, explains our weekly pick: "How dare the public not match the views of the press corps. Todd seems genuinely surprised, maybe even appalled, that most people have more trust in Republicans than in President Biden and Democrats. Todd is a victim of his own media bubble where it's a surprise Republicans lead in areas where Biden has clearly failed, such as border security and crime. It should lead Todd to question NBC's journalism, but it won't."

What a shocker that a talking head on a major network would feel this way, isn't it?
Because surprise really leads one to trust his "independent", "unbiased" "reporting".
He's trying to warn them....They need somebody else.

Looks like he is at 46%.
Your link shows that the majority of voters do NOT approve of Biden's handling of things.
Your link also shows that the majority believes the country is headed in the wrong direction.
You can spin it all you want, but when even a Democratic cheerleader like Todd is alarmed, you best believe things are seriously wrong for your President.

But, but, but I thought conservatives didn't trust the polls? It's hilarious how excited the right gets over poll numbers that are in their favor when compared to how dismissive they are of poll numbers that aren't. So which is it? Can polls be trusted or not? Why is no one citing the poll numbers from 2016 to show wrong they can be? Too busy taking an imaginary victory lap before the race has even started? Conservative hypocrisy truly knows no bounds.

Perhaps because I've been watching the nonsense many right wing conservatives claim to believe in for decades. I literally could not count the number of times some right wing nut jobs proclaimed polls can't be trusted and trotted out the 2016 election results as some sort of emphatic evidence to justify their hilariously flawed reasoning.
And I can't count how many times liberals have sworn by the polls, even the ones in 2016.
Polls only count in NON-Presidential elections, yet many on the right screamed that "Hillary lost even though the polls said she would win".. Just proved, yet again, that those people had no fucking clue how presidents are elected or what polls mean. Polls ONLY reflect the popular vote.
If you can show me one liberal who actually thought Hillary would lose, I'll show you someone who lied to you.

Ain't it funny his when the polls are in their favor they the are absolutely true and accurate but when the polls GI against them they all of a sudden stop believing in polls?

But "they" is a group consisting of pretty much anybody who staunchly supports either one party or the other.
The polls in 2016 more or less proved how biased polls can be.
They didn't "miss it" with those polls. They attempted to manipulate an election with them and the American people didn't bite. Not a lot of them anyways.

I’m curious to see how that one turns out.
Might be interesting to see if the Democrat carries the state like Biden did just last year.
If it is close, that doesn't bode well for Democrats in the near future.
