Republicans Cheer As Congressional Candidate Demands Fauci’s Execution By Firing Squad

Wed, April 27, 2022, 2:48 AM

Oklahoma GOP Chair John Bennett, who is running for Congress, said he wants to put Dr. Anthony Fauci in front of a firing squad ― and the crowd at a campaign event clapped and cheered.  “We’re fighting communist Democrats, establishment RINOs!” Bennett ranted in a video that Right Wing Watch shared online Tuesday, which has now gone viral.

“We’re fighting against a system that stole the election in 2020 and nobody had been held accountable,” Bennett continued, parroting former President Donald Trump’s baseless election fraud claims. “We’re in a war with bureaucrats that have forced vaccine mandates on us, mask mandates on us.”

Bennett then railed against something he described as “wokeness confusion,” which he alleged is being pushed “down our throats now.”

Then came his sinister line about Fauci, who has been targeted by   repeated death threats   for his public health work during the coronavirus pandemic.

“And by the way, we should try Anthony Fauci and put him in front of a firing squad,” said Bennett, not really expanding on what crime he believes Fauci has committed.

Then he added: “And for the Secret Service, if they’re listening, I’m not advocating we kill Anthony Fauci … until he’s convicted of his crimes through a court.”

Fauci, as a highly visible U.S. health official, has spoken about the barrage of conservative criticism, vitriol and violent threats he’s received for his public health advice during the pandemic.

He called for the firing of Fox News’ Jesse Watters after the TV host in December urged young conservatives to “ambush” him and “go for the kill shot” with questions.

“The only thing that I have ever done throughout these two years is to encourage people to practice good public health practices: to get vaccinated, to be careful in public settings, to wear a mask,”   Fauci said at the time .

“Isn't calling for the assassination of a public figure a crime?”

An actual indictable crime…plus an indication of just how stilted, just how wilted, and just how dangerous the discourse has become when this kind of rhetoric has somehow become acceptable.

Elon is not the answer, just another symptom.

A shame what happened to the fish at Tulagi when they were shut down by the IRS.

Was a VIP back then and many of us tried to save the hundreds of exotic fish upstairs.

The IRS wouldn't let us do that and they all died. I loved zoning out on those fish.

Sat across the aisle from Bonnie Raitt at Tulagi one night when she leaned back in her chair to swig on a gallon jug of red wine and fell over. I helped her up and stole her jug of wine.

Get this - when something was discussed on another seed about the fake electors for trumpturd - then this exchange followed about attempted crimes.
"And once again, ALL you have to do to give your post JUST a little credibility is to simply provide a link where this has actually HAPPENED."

"Here you go Texan1211.

Trump’s fake electors: Here’s the full list

Groups from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin all sent lists of so-called alternate electors to the National Archives after the 2020 election.

January 6 Committee subpoenas ‘alternate electors’ in seven states

Trump campaign officials, led by Rudy Giuliani, oversaw fake electors plot in 7 states

What you need to know about the fake Trump electors

Prosecutors in multiple states are investigating false Electoral College submissions"

"But that's all no big deal and nothing should be done about it according to certain posters, since they didn't get away with it, right?

Only a fucking moron would believe that just because they didn't get away with it, that's they didn't break any laws."

This from ozzwald

"Yes. Otherwise it would be ATTEMPTED armed robbery."

"LOL!  Not how it works."

This from another poster

"I'm afraid it is. Perhaps you can elaborate on why you think otherwise?"  jrSmiley_86_smiley_image.gif      jrSmiley_10_smiley_image.gif

Then myself

I'm afraid IT IS NOT!  Because the 'attempted armed robbery' didn't pan out they shouldn't be locked up for 'attempting armed robbery'?????????

I think you get near the time for an attempted crime as actually completing a job. I think it's a 2-3 years less for an attempted crime like robbery or murder. I could be wrong

That would make sense - just because it didn't pan out - doesn't mean they shouldn't get some kind of harsh time for such an offense - like for attempted armed assault or murder.

Morning CJ..when you do get it cut can always donate it to the cancer council.

Here people donate their long hair so it can be turned into wigs etc for people who have lost their hair. Even young kids do it to raise donations via sponsors as well..

But it could be down to your knees the way it's mutating and sticking around..

Today's right wing has evolved.  And Putin's Russia has been 'working' on the American population for decades.  Uterus politics, guns everywhere, racial disparity, dirty water/air and crumbling infrastructure to name a few.
