WASHINGTON, D.C. — A great upheaval was felt across the political landscape today as the most popular president in history was inundated with calls to step down.

President Joe Biden, recipient in 2020 of more votes than any other human being in the chronicles of humankind, was surprised to learn that despite his status as the unequivocally most beloved and favored presidential candidate in history, he was on the receiving end of a seemingly endless string of public calls for him to leave office.

"What a bunch of malarkey," Biden said to reporters when asked about the mounting pressure for him to drop out of the race. "The idea… the idea... the idea... er, uh... the idea that the president who got more votes than any candidate ever and defeated Donald Trump even though nobody came to my rallies or watched my YouTube videos… look, folks… I'm not out here to say that I'm… everyone likes to come out of the woodwork to… the entire time that I've been… that I've… been serving in the United States Senate… and I don't have to prove myself to… to show that… that I'm… well, anyway."

Biden was shuffled away by aides to conclude the brief statement.

Administration insiders were adamant that Biden would remain in the race due to his overwhelming popularity despite a growing number of prominent Democratic politicians, celebrities, media pundits, and business leaders calling for him to step away.

At publishing time, Democrat leaders confirmed that 100% of Biden's deceased voting block had also voiced their preference for him to drop out.

I'm glad the right is still attacking Biden. It will be used against them when the new candidate is in place.

I see more Republicans hoping Joe stays in the race, the majority of those saying he needs to drop out is coming from Democrats.

Replacing Biden shows how little democrats think of him.

No, it shows how little they think of Trump.

No, it shows that they're rightfully worried about getting their asses kicked in November.

No.  We will vote Blue no matter who.  President Biden - or if he steps aside - BLUE.

And not just vote "Blue' because it is symbolic of the democratic party, but because it adheres to the Rule of Law and a set of reasonable social principles.

I never doubted that you would. You might should be a little worried about Democrat voter turnout though....

It shows that all they care about is winning.

Will you blame Joe if he stays in and loses?

Trump doesn't. A minute ago, Trump told a crowd in Michigan that Biden doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

I remember not that long ago leftists were claiming Joe was the best president ever. Now most of them want him to drop out because of his ineptness.
Apparently greatness in the democrat ranks does not last very long.

Today he got back at them the best he could. As Kamala spoke from Biden's old campaign headquarters, Biden called in to say he has her back.  I assume that was a swipe at Obama.

Why not?

It isn't like the left has stopped attacking Trump 24/7.

But Trump deserves it because he is Trump!

Run Joe Run

Joe has the runs now????

Gives new meaning to 'Joe has to go'.

Incompetence and incontinence have become interchangeable excuses for the rank and file.

What we've learned is that blue has become the new brown.  And Democrats are throwing a lot of blue at the wall to see what sticks.

Run Joe Run

As a side side-note, when I was a kid they were called the scours.  Dealing with that required big load of straw, man.  So, Biden is more scatological than Dems want us to believe.  Although the Dems' problem now seems more eschatological .

Ooooh ...  Satire for Democrats smacks of truth.  Is this more parody than satire?

For Republicans this is just comedy worth a chuckle.  But for Democrats it's an existential threat.  Sort of like the old Memorex commercial -- are Democrats real or are Democrats fake?  It's gettin' to be kinda hard to tell the difference.
