Comic and pundit Bill Maher had to tell activist and filmmaker Michael Moore to "shut the f**k up" after five solid minutes of Moore excitedly gushing about a midterm landslide for Democrats.

Political conditions have improved significantly for Democrats over the summer, but Moore — the guest on Friday night's edition of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher — took it to eleven when the host asked for his take on the midterms:

MICHAEL MOORE: But I honestly believe, Bill and you know, you and I are are two well-known pessimists, I think, and and I have never felt this optimistic. And I, and, you know, I was on your show here, what's, now six years ago when I said that Trump was going to win. And the audience booed me and you stood up for me. I was just saying, when I look, I'm out, I'm around. You know, I'm from the Midwest. I think I had a pretty good sense of what was going to happen. I think the opposite is going to happen this time. I think that that there is going to be such a landslide against the traitors, especially the 147 Republicans who just hours after the insurrection voted to not certify the elected president of the United States, Joe Biden. And I think that there is going to be so many people coming out to vote. I want to thank the Supreme Court for reminding women that they are, in fact, second-class citizens and and taking their rights away like this. There are so many. I don't know if you've seen the list of states, starting with Kansas, which, by the way, 60% of the people in Kansas…

(continues for three solid minutes like this)

MICHAEL MOORE: …I think there's a real revolution, a nonviolent revolution going on in favor of democracy. People don't want to lose it. We will have course we are confusing and we can't lose.

BILL MAHER: Michael Moore. Now let's meet our panel.

MICHAEL MOORE: I'm sorry!

BILL MAHER: I'm sorry. Question two!

MICHAEL MOORE: I'm just excited. We're going to get rid of these people that are trying to tear the country down. We're going to get rid of them. I'm excited about it.

BILL MAHER: I see. You know, we have some Republicans watching this show. We are we are for all Americans on this show.

MICHAEL MOORE: So I don't know. But that's why we should…

BILL MAHER: Yeah, I know, I know. Shut the fuck up! Shut up right now and answer one other question. Okay?

Watch above via HBO.

I watched the show and the story is misleading. Maher and Michael Moore are good friends.

That Dream World has him able to afford a summer and a winter mansion.

Because virtue signaling leftists and their money are soon parted.

Moore is milking them for all he can get.

Sounds like an excess that the left would love to hate. Does he walk between the two? I doubt he'd know a bicycle if he saw one.

Fetterman made a big deal about the tattoos on his arm as they represent deaths during his watch. Good thing he didn't shoot the black jogger.

So why don't Democrats ever offer an alternative while they are in power, or is it just too damned 'convenient' to blame someone from decades ago for Democratic failures?

You mean the Senate Republicans would allow such alternatives if suggested by the Democrats?  LOL  Dreamer.

Senate Democrats aren't suggesting them. They are too busy trying to get 1 party rule by getting rid of the filibuster; nationalizing election laws; and packing the Supreme Court.

They would love to have what the CCCP has.

Really?  Your suggestion meant that if the Democrats would propose a  solution the Republicans would agree to it.  What I said is that even if the Democrats proposed a reasonable solution the Republicans would block it - and would only allow it if they absolutely had to for their own benefit.  If you had a different, perhaps more esoteric meaning for what you posted, I would be glad to have it explained to me.

So why don't Democrats ever offer an alternative while they are in power,

Because that would mean they would actually have to do something.  We can't be having that now.

or is it just too damned 'convenient' to blame someone from decades ago for Democratic failures?

THAT.

And in the two years Brandon has been in the White House the average American has lost nearing $5000 a year in usable income do to his policies that have increased gas prices (they are on the way up again), and high inflation.

Biden was elected because the masses were Trump weary. He has proceeded to fail in every category.

He has zero chance for reelection.  Republicans will easily take the House....and probably the Senate

Michael Moore would be right if American women had the balls to middle finger their husbands and vote en masse to not be enslaved as Margaret Atwood's handmaids.

You want misogynistic?  Taking away a woman's right to determination about her own body is what's misogynistic.  I didn't refer to party - you did so don't put words in my mouth.  I didn't say that women shouldn't vote for Republicans who repudiate the anti-abortion laws being passed, and should any Democrat agree with those strict laws, then they shouldn't vote for them.  It's not a question of which party, but about the lawmakers who support the strict anti-abortion laws.
