D onald Trump suffered a blow in the Pennsylvania primary on Tuesday, as tens of thousands of   Republicans   refused to vote for him despite being the presumptive GOP nominee.

The former president won the primary race in the key swing state with 83.5 percent of the vote, amounting to more than 786,000 votes.

However,   Nikki Haley , who ended her campaign for the White House after Super Tuesday in March, still received 16.5 percent of the vote, equating to more than 155,000 ballots.

Trump has dominated the   Republican   primary, and won enough delegates to clinch the Republican presidential nomination in March after victories in Georgia, Mississippi and Washington state.

However, there have been signs that Trump is still   struggling to garner support   from more moderate and independent voters who could be key in the general election against President   Joe Biden , especially in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

And now, if only people will start to come to their senses regarding Biden.

This is just stupid.   Trump or Biden will be the next PotUS.    One can vote for anyone they want, but in the end either Biden or Trump will be the PotUS.

Your notion of 'coming to their senses' is to vote for someone other than Trump or Biden (or to not vote at all).   Doing so may make one feel good, but it does nothing whatsoever to determine which of those two will be the PotUS.   Unless one is mentally incapable of differentiating between Biden and Trump in terms of what is best for the nation given only those two choices, a responsible voter will help ensure that we make the best choice: Biden or Trump.

It is bullshit for anyone to imply that there is no difference between Biden and Trump in terms of net bad (or good) to this nation.   They are NOT by any stretch of the imagination equivalent.  Thus every adult with a functioning brain can determine which of the two would be better to serve as PotUS.

Seems to me the choice is obvious.   Trump is by far the worst nominee ever put forward by a major party.   It is almost surreal that the GOP is actually going to nominate this scoundrel.   Almost anyone would be better than him.   Biden is clearly substantially better than Trump for this nation.

Look Texan, I think everyone on this forum is savvy enough to understand that someone who will predictably argue the pro-Trump side of any issue and the anti-Biden side of any issue almost certainly views Trump as preferable to Biden.

If one was somewhat balanced in their criticism / defense of these two candidates then their claim that they will vote for neither would have some credibility.    Especially if their comments were critical of both.

But when someone clearly illustrates with their comments a belief that one is substantially worse than the other,  few will buy their claim (implied by a claim of voting for neither) that they do not care which of those two becomes the next PotUS.

Rebut my claim that your comments comparing Biden and Trump are predominantly (almost always) anti-Biden.   Not possible.

My comment history shows that I am extremely anti-Trump (for very good reasons which I enumerate) and that Trump's negatives far surpass those of Biden's.   Thus my comment history is consistent with my stated intention to use my vote in the most effective way I can against Trump.

You cannot correlate your comment history with your claim of not voting for either.   And normally that would be fine.   But given you are bad-mouthing everyone who votes for Biden or Trump, your glaring comment history discrepancy will remain front and center.

shows how terrible Biden is, doesn't it?

Imagine losing to Donald Trump. Democrats probably should have avoided nominating a mindless puppet of the far left fringe.

Actually what it does, is show how blinded Trumps cult truly is

Imagine people so blinded that they would choose to vote for a two times divorced cheating sexual assaulter/rapist, accused rapist,

and these people call themselves "Christians"

At this point trying to imprison Trump amounts to election interference.

magine how well he'd be doing if Republicans supported him as mindlessly as Democrats do Biden. .

Did you really write that? I would say something else but it would be classified as "taunting"

One of the curious phenomena is people opining as if they are living in an alternate reality where Trump is a serious individual who has done nothing wrong and who only wants to go to work for the betterment of the American people.

And so did Joe Biden.........to uncommitted

"By Wednesday Uncommitted Pa., by its own calculations, said the 67 counties across the state had reported 57,951 Democratic write-in votes for President, which would represent 5.7% of the total vote and nearly three times the number of write-ins cast in the 2020 presidential primary."

I wouldn't read too much into this. Pennsylvania has a closed primary system so you must be registered in the party to vote for that party. As Trump has already garnered sufficient primary votes elsewhere to be the presumptive nominee for the party, this vote was not needed. Lets wait to see what the general brings.

That strikes me as far worse news for Trump than it would have been if some of those 155,000 were Democrats who voted in the Republican primary.

It's no worse than all those Democrats who voted 'uncommitted' against Biden. As of today it's all meaningless, doesn't count till Nov 6th.
