“Enemies of the State”: New York Times Launches Disgusting Attack Against Trump Supporters
Benner’s tweet calls into question whether the legacy media has the ability to cover the Biden administration — or its political opponents — accurately. “This is a reporter — not an op-ed writer — saying this,” tweeted civil libertarian Glenn Greenwald. “[T] he fixation on 1/6 is about exactly this: classifying Trump supporters as Enemies of the State for political gain & Security State power.”

This is worse than bad.  It is totally to be expected though considering the words and actions of members of the regime both executive and legislative and their supporting  lackeys in the supposedly objective mainstream media and the 1st amendment destroyers of big tech social media. It’s despotic dystopian regimes that call their loyal opposition enemies of the state or the people.  Bad things then happen to them. This “reporter’s” quote is the true feelings of people associated with the current regime and majority members in congress.  Considering the source of who is saying this stuff, I’m proud to be what they carelessly and full of malice describe.

“Enemies of the State”: New York Times Launches Disgusting Attack Against Trump Supporters

by Collin Rugg about 14 hours ago

The media and the Democratic party hates you and they will slander, lie and deceive to make sure you are shunned from society.

During the January 6 Capitol riot testimony, New York Times reporter Katie Benner labeled all Trump supporters “enemies of the state” on Twitter.

“Today’s #January6thSelectCommittee underscores the America’s current, essential [national security] dilemma: Work to combat legitimate national security threats now entails calling a politician’s supporters enemies of the state,” tweeted Benner.

“As Americans, we believe that state power should not be used to work against a political figure or a political party,” she added. “But what happens if a politician seems to threaten the state? If the politician continues to do so out of office and his entire party supports that threat?”

“The dilemma was unresolved by the Russia probe and 2 impeachments,” Benner said in a now deleted Twitter thread.

Check out what the Daily Wire reported :

Benner formerly worked for a “news outlet” founded in Maoist China. The New York Times reported in 2015 that, before Benner joined the newspaper of record, “she wrote for Beijing Review.” Beijing Review, formerly Peking Review, is published by the China International Publishing Group, which “was founded in 1949 with a mission to introduce China to foreign countries through books, magazines and websites.” It is officially controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

Benner’s work for the CCP propaganda outlet is omitted from her official New York Times biography.

Her wording instantly raised concerns throughout social media. Totalitarian regimes frequently labeled any dissident an “enemy of the state,” or “enemy of the people,” before their execution.

Lawyer Jonathan Turley shot back at the New York Times by sharing conflicting words from their very own mouths:

2018: New York Times denounces Trump for calling it the “enemy of the people” as “inflammatory” and dangerous.

2021: New York Times reporter calls for all Trump supporters to be declared “enemies of the people.”

“I am once again asking the journalists to not casually refer to members of the political party they don’t like as enemies of the state,” wrote Drew Holden.

After receiving harsh backlash, Benner deleted the tweets and posted: Benner erased the messages. “I deleted unclearly worded tweets regarding the Jan 6. committee hearing.”

The Daily Wire continues:

But Benner’s views echo those of prominent officials on the Left. Shortly after the 2020 election, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) supported the formation of a Trump Accountability Project, an effort to cancel and blacklist “Trump sycophants” and deny them employment prospects. Clinton administration Treasury Secretary Robert Reich similarly proposed a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” to flush out the identities of every American who helped “enable” the Trump administration.

Enemies of decent humanity in general.  I feel infinitely more empathy for the animals on the Sarah Mcglothlin SPCA commercials than any of these animals.

I won’t comment on the first part but there is no denying that The NY Times reporter did make the comment in question and tweeted it nor that others talked about it as recorded.  There’s nothing garbage about it.  The fact is that there would not have been any coverage of her Tweet or it being taken down without the alternative media reporting it.

What’s wrong with it?  Can anyone deny that the supposedly objective NY Times reporter who once worked for a Chinese propaganda outlet wrote the comment attributed to her?  Can anyone deny the attributed quotes of others reported in response to her words? Or are you questioning it because what she wrote got reported at all?

It’s sad to see such bitterness anger and contempt toward other Americans who see the world differently than they do.

No thanks!  It’s not my issue.  While I wouldn’t express things the way the left and this reporter did, some of the feeling short of what she and certain others in media and elected office said are quite mutual.

  1. Donald Trump Calls The Media 'The Enemy Of The American ...

    • Published:   Feb 17, 2017

    • Estimated Reading Time:   2 mins

President   Donald Trump   vilified the press again Friday, tweeting that the   media   are “the enemy of the American   people”   and specifically   calling   out several major news organizations. The FAKE   NEWS media   (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American   People!

The seeded article mentioned that.

So the New  York Times reporter is as  partisan as Donald Trump.

You think that helps your argument?
