This is such great news!  It’s great to see people stand up to the power of big fascist government and resist overbearing dictates.  Well done In and Out.  A few extra trips there are in my future.  Of course where I live the two In and Outs and the Chick Fil a are by far the busiest and most crowded fast food places.  Only Taco Bell comes close to those two.

The fast-food chain In-N-Out Burger made headlines this week when it announced it would not enforce a COVID-19 vaccination mandate for patrons in San Francisco, stating its role is not “to become the vaccination police for any government.”

Immediately, the California-based restaurant was met with praise.

“Who said corporations can’t act heroically?” wrote Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

In-N-Out's response to being shut down by San Francisco: “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business.”

The deluge of praise for In-N-Out Burger — owned by devout Christian Lynsi Snyder — came after the San Francisco Department of Public Health shuttered the location on Fisherman’s Wharf on Oct. 14, citing the restaurant’s failure to check patrons’ vaccination status, a violation of a city edict put in place in August.

In response, Arnie Wensinger, chief legal and business officer for In-N-Out Burger, told Fox News the restaurant locations contain “clearly posted signage to communicate local vaccination requirements.”

“After closing our restaurant, local regulators informed us that our restaurant associates must actively intervene by demanding proof of vaccination and photo identification from every customer, then act as enforcement personnel by barring entry for any customers without the proper documentation,” Wensinger said. “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government.”

He went on to condemn the city health department for its “unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe” requirements, accusing the city of asking business owners to “segregate” their customers.

“We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business,” his statement continued. “This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.”

The pushback from In-N-Out Burger comes weeks after President Joe Biden mandated all private-sector companies with 100 or more employees require their staffers to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

It’s worth noting language to back up Biden’s edict has not yet been finalized . Last week, the president said his mandate will take effect “soon” because there are an “unacceptably high number” of people who have refused — for various reasons — to take the shots.

Without taking any questions from reporters, Biden said the government has “to do more to vaccinate 66 million unvaccinated people in America.”

Candace Cameron Bure: I am ‘pro-medical freedom’ but not against COVID vaccines

Outspoken Christian actress and author Candace Cameron Bure has announced that while she is “pro-medical freedom,” she is not against coronavirus vaccines.

Widely recognized for her role in the ’90s show “Full House” and as a former host on “The View,” Bure recently took to social media to author a post expressing opposition to mandates requiring Americans to take a coronavirus vaccine.

“This is not about what I am against. This is what I am FOR,” she wrote in an Oct. 7 Instagram post that was accompanied by a graphic reading, “I’m not anti-V, I’m just pro-medical freedom.”

Bure instructed her followers to “Read and understand the distinction.”

“This mama is holding the line and standing up for freedom,” she wrote.

“This should not separate us. We can have different opinions and still respect and love one another. Be bigger than that!” she continued.

In her post, Bure shared a series of pictures that stated that she is also “pro-informed consent,” “pro-immune system,” “pro-early intervention” and “pro-sunlight, exercise, real food and vitamins.”

The series of graphics was originally posted by an Instagram user with the account name @thegirlnamedblake.

In early October, Fox News reported that Bure shared on her Instagram Story that she would not tell anyone whether or not she received a vaccine against COVID and indicated that she is “definitely against vaccine mandates.” …

Bure is not the only celebrity to express opposition to vaccine mandates.

Rock musician Eric Clapton had vowed to refrain from performing concerts at venues that require proof of coronavirus vaccination.

Country singer Travis Tritt indicated he would also cancel performances in venues that implemented vaccine mandates or testing requirements during an appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Tuesday.

This is a Double Double Nothing Burger animal style.  Mrs. Gee and I dine out at least once a week, usually 2-3 times a week.  We wear masks in but, as soon as we're served drinks, we take them off.  We have never been asked for a vaccine card, anywhere, at any time.  If more people got vaccinated this wouldn't even be a story.

In Redding Ca, neither masks nor vaccine passports are asked for in a business or restaurant including fast food.  Our vaccination rate here is not good but most agree on both sides that mandates and government coercion is not the answer and is counter productive.  I ❤️ In And. Out!

And we are mightily proud of them for taking their stand against the regime. We will just make sure to give them extra business in the other inland counties and their communities that In and Out operates in.  It’s a privately held company or I’d buy their stock to support them.

BREAKING: Daily Wire Signs Allison Williams, Ousted ESPN Sportscaster Who Resisted Vaccine Mandate
.com

Ben Shapiro, the founding editor of The Daily Wire, announced Friday the conservative media outlet has hired former ESPN reporter Allison Williams after she left the network over its parent company’s vaccination mandate.

Williams, a college basketball and football reporter, left ESPN after she was sidelined in September for failing to comply with a rule put in place by The Walt Disney Company requiring all cast members to be inoculated against COVID-19.

In a statement of her own, Williams said she is “thrilled and honored” to join The Daily Wire.

“I am proud to be a part of a company that fights for our rights and I cannot wait to bring agenda-free sports reporting to The Daily Wire’s members and millions of followers,” she said. “Leaving ESPN was one of the most difficult decisions of my career, but it was the right thing to do. I respect people who choose to get the COVID-19 vaccine, but it was not the appropriate medical decision for me at this time. No one should be forced to choose between their livelihood and the freedom to make their own health care choices — it is simply un-American.”

Williams tweeted Friday afternoon she is “beyond excited” to start her new gig.

The ex-ESPN reporter is forgoing the vaccination after consulting her doctor and a fertility specialist. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it should be noted, has stated all adults — including women trying to become pregnant — should take the shots.

“Throughout our family planning with our doctor, as well as a fertility specialist, I had decided not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at this time while my husband and I try for our second child,” Williams previously explained. “This was a deeply difficult decision to make and it’s not something I take lightly. I understand vaccines have been essential in the effort to end this pandemic; however, taking the vaccine at this time is not in my best interest.”

Williams, who has been with ESPN since March 2011, said last week she was denied her request for accommodation by the sports network and The Walt Disney Company and “will be separated from the company.”

“I also want people to know who support these mandates that I fight for you,” she explained. “Because if this is the direction we take our country, there will come a time when the government or corporations mandate you to get something that does not align with your values. Power given is seldom returned. And when that day comes, I want you to at least know that we fought, and we tried.”

Several social media users have praised The Daily Wire for hiring Williams.

“Great to see this,” replied journalist Rav Arora. “Creating new opportunities and building new bridges is the only path forward when our institutions are in decline and failing to protect and serve the people.”

Writer Samuel Sey, known for his criticism of critical race theory, wrote ,…

It’s kind of tough to expect employees with the experience and skill of level of “would you like fries with that?” to critically and authoritatively scrutinize vaccination documents. And if some dickhead patron wants to put up a fight, is the 17 or 18 year-old part time employee supposed to argue with them? I appreciate the sentiment behind the requirement, but it just doesn’t seem like a reasonable expectation.

Based on how busy they are especially at peak times but at In and Out almost all the time it would greatly slow down and congest the place further if they had to ask for and prove them legit for everyone.
