Photographs show strength and spirit of the Siberian Tiger

Pan Songyi's photos show tigers living in Northeast China. [All photos by Pan Songyi/cpanet.org.cn]  This caption applies to all photos.

A series of tiger-themed photographs taken by Pan Songyi show the Siberian Tiger's majesty and spirit.

Pan, a member of China Photographers Association, has shot tigers for 13 years. He spends most of his spare time at the Siberian Tiger Park at Hengdaohezi town in Hailin city of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, having visited 143 times.

After extensive experience with the animals, Pan has become familiar with the tigers' habits and body language. His photography not only records the tigers' living conditions, but also reflects their inner life.

As 2022 marks the Year of the Tiger, let's see some of Pan's best work.

didnt see that coming, guess im deafinitley dumb, cause  cant touch this, because the Tigers ate his arm, thus subsequently, his fingers, so, can't touch this, B sides all we wanted was a photograph, where we poured some sugar on that big puddy cat, but cat took for paws, and hid under the rock of ageless male men who are femails, yet deliver cause like tigers, Love Bites , causing Hysteria, or so i heard from a herd of Def Impalas who red about it in the Daily gazell

I'm with you when it comes to Jaguars.  63 years ago my father had the dealer bring this car around for him to test drive - a new 1959 Jaguar Mark IX.  I got in the back seat, sunk into the glove leather seat and smelled that wonderful new fresh leather smell, looked at the polished solid burled wood trim and drop down tables at the back of the front seats, and thought that this was not a car for ordinary people, not even for rich people, it was a car for royalty.

But my father didn't like it, and bought a 1960 Cadillac Coupe deVille instead, a car that was so nouveau riche, so long you needed two parking spots to park it.  I could have disowned my father.

Charlene!! I love it! You can always tell how someone feels about their pets by how they name them. If they're named with people names, then they're family. Rover, Spot and Fluffy are just loved pets.

This article is not only beautiful, but timely!

My Chinese astrology sign is the rat.  Don't know if I agree with all of this, but it's not a bad reading.

Ranking the first in the Chinese zodiac, rat represents wisdom. Personality traits for the people born in the year of the Rat are intelligent, charming, quick-witted, practical, ambitious, and good at economizing as well as social activities. The weaknesses are that the Rats are likely to be timid, stubborn, wordy, greedy, devious, too eager for power and love to gossip.

Ranking the eighth position of all the animals in Chinese zodiac, Sheep (also Goat or Ram) represents solidarity, harmony and calmness. People born in the year of the Sheep are polite, mild mannered, shy, imaginative, determined and have good taste. On the negative side, they are sometimes pessimistic, unrealistic, short-sighted and slow in behavior.

I am not sure if the bad outweighs the good....

Actually, I have two birth certificates. Back in the day many times if you were born on the rez there was no birth cert. I did get one later and when my parents died I was going through their papers and I found the second one. They are 1 year and 2 days apart.

I do not know which one is correct, so I have the ability to have two Chinese Zodiac signs.
