The donald does not want Congress to deal with the border crisis because he wants to use it as an issue in the 2024 campaign. The ReTrumplicans don’t care about what is good for the country, they are only interested in what is good for their party. So Trump wants Mike Johnson to block immigration reform in the House.

The Senate bill does nothing to secure the border. More border agents to help transport the ever growing numbers of illegals to detention centers so they can be processed; with 1000 DOJ far left immigration judges appointed to grant as many illegals citizenship so long as they promise to vote Democrat.
There is nothing Trump can say or do at this time to stop Brandon from taking action himself and securing the border and enforcing our laws as written. Yet Brandon chooses to sue Texas for trying enforce their border; and prevent themselves from being overrun.

I personally have never used the term "Brandon" and never will, but that does not change the fact that I detest the individual greatly. As I have said previously, I detest Trump as well but I detest Joe Biden even more. Whether some here like it or not, or want to admit it, the border problems are on Biden's watch and it is up the Democrats to come up with "reasonable" solutions that both sides can work with and the Senate is currently controlled by said Democrats.

Would love to see the text of the Senate bill but from what I read it's still in committee and the text still has a lot of holes in it. They are calling it bi-partisan because both sides are in committees working on details, but we will also need to wait for any actual vote to see how bi-partisan it really is. But I like your questions.
