UNIQUE PLOT MOVIE QUIZ
UNIQUE PLOT MOVIE QUIZ
PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS, ANY MOVIE OR ACTOR NAMES OR EVEN A HINT IN A COMMENT, OR YOU WILL RUIN THE QUIZ FOR EVERYONE ELSE. POST THEM IN A PRIVATE NOTE TO ME, BUZZ OF THE ORIENT, AND I WILL REPLY WITH YOUR SCORE AND THE CORRECT ANSWERS.
Don't forget that I am on the other side of the world (of most of you) and I could be asleep when you send your answers, so be patient - I will get to your PN as soon as I can.
PLEASE, PLEASE , READ WHAT IS BELOW FIRST AND FOLLOW THE RULES IN ORDER TO GET FULL MARKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS. IT IS ALWAYS A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST QUIZ.
In this quiz, as usual, besides the two image clues, the third clue is and it is REQUIRED that the movie MUST be a movie on the first page only which contains the first 100 movies on the IMDb list of The BEST movies with uncommon, unusual or gripping plot that is linked following this paragraph. I have seen four or five of the movies on this quiz that I can remember, so, as always, some of the movies can be identified from just the images that often just spell out the title, but some may require you to either have watched the movies or be familiar with them or will require you to do a little research into them because the clues might represent an item, fact, scenario or aspect that will require you to have seen the movie or know the story or what the film is about. However, all you need is the linked IMDb list to find the answers. I don't think any of the clues are actual screen shots from the movies. I try to use clues that do not make it easy to do a web search, and since this is a test of your knowledge of movies, web searching using web programs that identify movies from the clues is cheating.
The BEST movies with uncommon, unusual or gripping plot (IMDb) LINK -> https://www.imdb.com/list/ls021352444/
NOTE: Only the first page or first 100 movies on the list apply to this quiz.
Note that I never use the same movie more than once in the same quiz, and usually the order of the clues is important
THE RULES
I am being fairly lenient in my scoring, and not overly concerned about spelling mistakes, punctuation, capitalizing or leaving out or adding an extraneous "A" or "The" or obvious typos, but especially if you guess the answer you should check the movie name on the linked list or web to make sure it is the full and correct name. For example, and this will be important for all my quizzes, you will lose a half mark if you make the title one word if it is two, or two words when it is only one because that means to me that you are not sure of the title. Just identifying the images does not necessarily mean that you know the name of the movie . That is only one of the reasons why it is important for you to check your answers with the list to make sure they are correct. As well, if you can convince me that my clues are equally as relevant for or better indicative of a movie other than the one I've chosen, provided it is one of the first 100 movies on the IMDb list linked above, I will accept that alternative as a good answer. In the previous quiz I did accept an alternative for one of the questions. Please also send only one answer for each question - I cannot score it if you provide more than one movie per question.
A situation came up on a previous quiz where the movie list link I used came up with a different name than the one the participant opened although it was the same link, so if that happens, please tell me. Be careful to use ONLY the list linked above, because there may be other similar lists that will not have the same movies.
SPECIAL HINT FOR THOSE WHO BOTHER TO READ WHAT'S ABOVE
Although some of the movies can be identified by just one of the clues, some of the clues can apply to the wrong movie, so it is IMPORTANT to take BOTH clues into consideration.
Please number your answers the same as the questions.

Another week, another quiz - this one should be interesting. Since the poll has pretty well dictated that the quizzes should maintain the same level of challenge, they will, and this one has, but there could still be a trick or two for you to overcome. So let's see how you can do on this one, but remember, as always...
PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS, ANY MOVIE OR ACTOR NAMES OR EVEN A HINT IN A COMMENT HERE, OR YOU WILL RUIN THE QUIZ FOR EVERYONE ELSE. POST THEM IN A PRIVATE NOTE TO ME, BUZZ OF THE ORIENT, AND I WILL REPLY WITH YOUR SCORE AND THE CORRECT ANSWERS.
This quiz will be open for one week, and will be closed on Friday November 17th at 10 p.m. New York time.
I'm going to dive in right now!
Better make sure the water's deep enough.
Good for you!
The water is fine, Perrie.
And warming, these days of climate change.
I'll give it a try.
Looking forward to it.
Paper numbered! On first glance, it looks like I've seen more than one of the movies (unlike the last quiz). Thanks, Buzz!
Go to it.

So it is.
Submitted...
Received and scored, thank you.
Answered & submitted
Received and scored, thank you.
Thank you. (DELETED)
LOL. Please don't post quotes from movies on an active quiz.
Submitted.
I got yours as well and scored them. Thanks.
Finally back from another weekend out of town. Will get started on this quickly... Looks like fun.
It's ALWAYS fun.
Monday bump!
Tuesday (here) thank you.
Working on it
A quiz every week
'Cause the news is so bleak
It is a distraction
from all the bad action

Thanks for trying, but we're no longer on the Front (Home) Page. Eight members have played so far, and there are still a couple of days left to post answers.
Stop worrying about the political biz
and take the movie quiz
it will give you some fizz
Thank you charger you did the trick
By posting a comment really quick
Thanks to all who gave a bump
To get us over the Wednesday hump.
And another Thursday morning bump to help stay..
And a Thursday afternoon bump to keep on the front page...
Although important news persists
More bumps are needed to assist
To keep us on the NT stage
And show up on the Front (Home) Page
My thanks to you for that.
And it's working. Thanks.
Submitted and another bump.
Received and scored, thank you.
Still 24 hours left from now before I close the quiz.
Friday morning bump, come in people, it's a fun and easy quiz.
Take a break from the partisan bashing and have some fun for a change...
Friday afternoon bumpsky... come on in and play for a while!!
Only 3 1/2 hours left to do so.
I'm really starting to feel sorry for those who think that having fun is bashing others for their political stance.
We're on the Front Page despite political rage.
I offer my thanks to our cinema sage!
The pressure that's pushing us off is hard to bear,
But thanks to loyal ones like you we're still there.
Time's up and this quiz is now closed. The scores indicate that my quizzes are pretty easy now, not much of a challenge but as long as they're fun to do and they take your mind off of the current awful news and divisive politics for a little while then at least you can experience the proverb that a change is as good as a rest. Again everyone who played is in the winners' circle. Perfect scores of 20 were had by Vic Eldred, Split Personality, Veronica, charger 383, Snuffy, Perrie and bccrane , and missing only 1 question for scores of 19 are Dig and Jasper2529 . My thanks and congratulations to all.
For the second time a name anomoly happened. When I open the link here, the movie name for question number 18 is Nordwand , but when that very same link is opened in America, the name shows up as North Face , which is the translation of Nordwand.
We're going back to actors and actresses for the next quiz which is now posted - movies in which Henry Fonda or Natalie Portman acted in that are listed on the linked IMDb lists.

And now, for those who aren't into enjoying the movies, or quizzes, here are the answers for this one:
Congrats to everyone who played, well done all. And to those who wouldn't come in, you missed a fun time.
Thanks Buzz
You're very welcome.
Well done, everyone!
On to the next quiz!
Yep, time for a change.
