MOVIES & TV - CLASSIC to CURRENT

I heard a tv show talking about Band Of Brothers this morning which made me think of war movies.

I also had Destination Tokyo (Cary Grant, John Garfield)  and Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (Van Johnson, Robert Walker) on streaming tv yesterday.

Give us some of your choices for favorite war movie.

Bataan

Patton

I like several, but Band of Brothers is definitely my favorite. Top notch production quality, and I love the interview clips of the real-life characters. I have the ammo can box set DVDs. It's a little embarrassing how many times I've watched it.

It's companion movie, Letters from Iwo Jima, was just as good and told the same story from the other side.

That was one that not only surprised me, but made me laugh, cry, and get angry. I LOVED Hacksaw Ridge!
