Here's a couple of live performances that really caught my eye this year. And that's saying something, considering that I think 99% of modern music blows.
These are two of the best live singers that I've heard in quite a while, and you gotta love that 80's style dance synth in Blinding Lights.
Depeche Mode - Get The Balance Right! (Combination Mix) 12" Germany Red Vinyl
Sister GOT IT! THE BIGGNEESS! Happy New Year!
Culture Club - Time (Clock Of The Heart)
Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime (Official Video
Blondie - Heart Of Glass (Official Music Video)
Salt-N-Pepa - Shoop (Official Video)
Deee-Lite - Groove Is In The Heart (Official Video)
Love that one.
Me, too.
Wow! I don't think I've head that since their 101 tour film came out in '89 or something.
...Well it goes to St Louie, "down to Missouri"... (should be 'Joplin, Missouri' )
You know, Martin Gore isn't a bad singer at all. There's some synth samples in there from Behind the Wheel, too.
Oh man, now I'm having all kinds of Depeche Mode flashbacks.
The Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil (Official Video) [4K]
Ooh ooh. OOH OOH What's my name?
"The Stones." (Chuckles!)
I just got up and I'll have to have a cup of coffee before I do any dancing...
There's not enough coffee in the world to make me a better dancer. I move around the floor more like I'm a cast member of the Walking Dead.
LOL, well after coffee I'm quite the dancer. Have you tried Coffee Royal that will get you dancing, I'm not sure how you will look but hey, who cares.
No, but back in the day, I was a world class Fancy Dancer.
LOL....
To steal a line from a movie (thinking of you Buzz)....
I'm a ballerina, but only in the shower...
Ha. Sounds like my singing. I think I sound ok but only in isolation in a small room with water running over me.
Hey! Stop looking at your feet and it will get itself done!
I'd like to see some of that from the 'vault'!
Yummy. (And, as always, apologies to your better half...)
Loads of fun there! Loved it.
What a hoot!
I could go on and on about a man (or woman) in uniform, but y'all get my drift . . . !
People seem to forget that U2 started as a New Wave group, and I was a New Waver, LOL!
U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday
One of my favorites......Good Morning Starshine by Oliver. Some here might remember.
You twinkle above us, we twinkle below.
Thank you for your very kind words, Ender. But, for me, we are all on level ground.
Being a Country Music fan, another of my favorites...
How about a little American Indian Hip Hop...Supaman (Fancy Dancer) Acosia Red Elk (Jingle Dancer)
One of my favorites, Kavika. They both are such excellent dancers. The Jingle Dance is awesome.
Come on now, ya'll aren't freaky enough...
.
Billy Idol Live, to be a lover
Just sayin,' Billie smoked a CIGAR after this performance!
Chicago Transit Authority (aka Chicago) - I'm A Man (1969)
Used to live up the hill from Caribou ranch.
One gorgeous pic, please from hilltop? Two to show!
Macho - I'm A Man Disco 1978 Full Version
NOTE: If you "long-haulers" can hang, dance over into the 9 minutes to 12 minutes 'set' on the song. But, don't you dare cheat!
QUARTERFLASH - Harden My Heart (1982)
I always liked that one.
Pat Benatar - Promises In The Dark (Official Video)
Yes - Owner Of A Lonely Heart (Extended Version)
For you.
She rocks. So hot and a big club one!
Every time I'm falling down
All alone I fall to pieces

Wall of Sound! The Weekend! Duo Lipa! It's Hot! FLAWLESS!
The Challenge: WATCH both videos above. Decide: If you only could PRODUCE one WHICH would be THE SHOW!
Crazy On You - Heart - live 2013
The Cars - Heartbeat City (Live Aid 1985)
Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls (New Lockdown Extended Version 2020) Disco Mix VP Dj Duck
