PrePex chosen to circumcise 20 million men in Africa

Fourteen African nations with high rates of new HIV infections are hoping an Israeli medical device for non-surgical voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) can curb the epidemic and save lives.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has prequalified the PrePax method as part of its widespread HIV prevention programs on the continent. PrePex is the only adult circumcision method, other than conventional surgery, to gain WHO accreditation.

The global health organization says its goal is to circumcise 20 million men in Africa by 2015. In 2007, WHO and UNAIDS proved that circumcised men reduce their risk of HIV Infection by approximately 60 percent in high risk areas.

The Herzliya-based Circ MedTech team developed the patent pending PrePex device to achieve safe and cost effective non-surgical adult male circumcision programs. The device adheres to international standards set by the US, the EU, the World Health Organization, African government officials, physicians and public health officials worldwide.

Circ MedTech is a social enterprise that aims to positively contribute to the global fight against HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases.

I wonder how much stock Clinton owns in that company, as well as various other politicians?

Or, for that matter, how much stock the people in 14 different African countries own:

Who gives a shit? The method works; it is approved world wide. It can be an effective preventer of AIDS/HIV. I wouldn't give a damn if Adolf Hitler and Chairman Mao were the owners.

What if Anthony Weiner owned stock-- wouldn't that be a hoot! (Anthony Weiner--circumcision + weiner-- get it? Krishna made a funny!). Or even Ron Paul (just thinking of the guy could induce spasms of hysterical laughter!)

I wonder if Miley Cyrus owns stock in the company-- that would be interesting to know (if only because she's been in the news a lot lately).

or Justin Beiber!!! Heck, that little squirt could probably buy the entire company three times over-- with just the money in his pocket, he's so friggin' rich!

I've noticed that often peopke don't care if lives could be saved-- especially if the victims are black. Rather, its often more important to them to attempt to attempt to advance some bizzarro political agenda or other...

My God, Mike. Do you really think Krishna was serious?

As Churchy La Femme said: "Don't take life so serious, son. It ain't nohow permanent." (Philosophy from Pogo)

Mike your wrong money writes legislation, corporations write legislation most Senators andHouse Membershave neither the time or desire to stoop to that level. The very rich write itor actually lawyers write it for them or their compay to give to the Senators or House membersLobbyist or other company employes hand carry it.

Does Justin or Miley have enoughmoney would depend on the importanceof the Legislation probably enough money but not enough leverage.
