Mal Goes to the Theatre
Mal has been away for a long time... Mal has been a stage manager at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Theater... for months... and months... and months. Mal has been helping to produce a play by the British playwright, Alan Ayckbourn, called The Norman Conquests... No, it's not about the 11th century invasion of England by the French... Its about a guy named Norman... with an over active libido. Actually it is THREE plays... a HUGE undertaking!!! This is closing weekend... Tonight we do a play called Table Manners, then tomorrow we are doing an all-day marathon of all three plays, Table Manners, Living Together, and Round and Round the Garden. Think of this... these plays have 6 actors... every actor is in every play... they have to learn the lines for all three plays and keep them straight. My question is... can you do that with the lengthy campaign pomp and circumstance during elections... you know, condense them all into one minute scenes? Please?????
