Just Another Ho-Hum Morning in My Back Yard

My wife took these photos on her iPhone this morning in our back yard.

What's in your back yard?

What back yard? When I was a little kid I had a ravine in my back yard, and when I was 21 my parents sold that house and built a home on the crest of a forest (Once I saw deer munching on the enonymous plants on the side of our house). For about 20 years I had a reverse hillside in my back yard. But here I'm in a high rise - no yard at all.

In my front and back yardI have visitors that range from bald eagles, hawks, groundhogs, rabbits, coyotes, deer and yes, one time a black bear.

Great photos Mac.

A lovely back yard indeed!

Ad a paradise of subjects for a great nature photographer like yourself.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Very kind words from good people are the most gratifying of all.

For accuracy sake and proper accreditation, I reiterate, my wife took these photos on her iPhone early this morning.

In my backyard are tree limbs that the neighbor in back never has his trimmers come over and pick up! I just pick them up and toss the back over the wall. Other then that the only thing in my backyard is Kool Decking and Bougainvillaeas. Way, way, way too many Bougainvillaeas.
