Who's Who?
When many of us moved from Newsvine to TheNewsTalkers some of us changed our user names and avatars, making it near impossible to know who were the members we knew before, so I started an article where persons who had changed their identity advised who they were previously, some indicating why they made the change and perhaps explaining why they chose their particular avatars. Although I have made no changes in name or avatar (a previous one showed myself and my wife in traditional wedding dress) others have done so in the move to this new site. Unless you have some good reason for keeping your identity secret, please add your comment to this article - so that we can know who our friends are, at least.

You typed in blue - is it a quotation? Perrie suggested, since this site does not have a quotation facility, to type quotations in blue.
It's not a big deal Buzz. I am looking into quotations for the tiny MCE editor.

having trouble uploading a new profile picture. when i chose upload new image, it seems to bring it to page, but does not replace pic i have. what am i doing wrong? thanks!
ok, i got it on one page, i think it is the account page. on the profile page it says something about power quota, contact system admin

This does not quite seem to be embedding a video , more like just a link . How am I going to display the deathless words of Margaret Cho this way ?!

Happy to see everyone here. It's time to leave the old site behind and get ourselves used to using this one. The only way I can change the size of this posting, is to click on "Paragraph" and click on one of the "Heading" links, but that will capitalize the first letter of each word. Isn't there going to be a way to increase the size of regular postings without that problem?
To me the more serious problem is deleting an article/seed once you've posted it . Has anyone discovered how to do that ?
If it's a comment or article that you posted, just run the mouse over it and two icons will show up on the right top corner of the page - a gear (to amend) and a trash can (to delete). I think that will only work for a short time, if at all, for comments on someone else's articles.
@Ravenwing: I think you need to post that question as a reply to Karen, ("reply" link is just above the thumbs up link) because it posted after Woodie's comment.
