As juvenile birds mature, the parents ignore this display more-and-more, Nature's way of moving towards the "Empty Nest Syndrome.
This morning, five Blue Jays were simultaneously raising hell around my feeders. I was most fortunate to be there and to get this shot.
I am happy with this one.
It's a good one Mac.
''Feed Me'', from the Little Shop of Horrors...
No one else around 'cept Kavika and me I guess; so
good night.
Very nice! I miss the birds that have gone north for the summer. (sigh) Though we do still have the hummingbirds.
Yep. Blue Jays can do some pretty mean things, eh A.Mac?
A Mac
One of my favorite visitors to the backyard
Beautiful picture
Thanks for sharing
Luv how nature's mothers "teach" their kids that now is the time to grow up.
Too bad humans don't follow that practice.
Nice shots Mac.
Since 1993, Buzz.
I think this is Joe Carter's Great Grand Bird.
Many thanks for all the kind words.
