I grew up from the time I was born until I was about 18 in a house that was backed up by a ravine, in which I spent much of my time either playing with friends or alone. Then my parents built a home that backed up on a forest, with deer that sometimes ate the enonymous (spelling? climbing green plant) off the side of the house. Since that time I've been pretty well "citified" (save for times spent at my home on a lake).
When I was growing up in Michigan in the country our backyard was an old barn, a chicken coop, a wood garage, 25 acres of field and about 40 acres of forest. It was a major change for me to move there and I loved it.
What's in Your back yard?
Kool Decking.
Nice pic!
Kool Decking
Pressure (Relief) Treated.
Nope. Swimming pool Kool Decking. The whole back yard is covered in in it. Really strange. I mean we have a pool, but it goes all over the whole back.
At the moment, a rabbit.
A very peaceful scene, A.Mac.

Within the last hour 4 white tail deer.
Beautiful photo Mac.
