What darling little puff balls! They paddle so busily, and their parents are so watchful of them. There is something so sweetly innocent about all babies, but baby ducks are, perhaps, one of the cutest!
A really lucky shot to get the whole family together. What is amazing is that the little ones are swimming in formation, the "V" in which they fly when migrating.
I have got to come up with a new word to describe your photographs! It just that when it comes to your nature shots, that's the first word that leaps to mind!
HONK, HONK … outta' the way.

I think they're geese.

They are Canada Geese … pairs mate for life.
I had the same thought about the "V" formation although the goslings in this configuration have the "V" in reverse from flight patterns.
Very nice photo Mac.
The gosling are swimming in the ''reverse V''. It's an old football formation.
Maybe they want to go that way, instead...
Lovely. Once again I use the same word. Lovely!
More bird photos tomorrow … got some nice shots early this evening.

It's a good thing the Eagles fired Chip Kelly or he would have traded them.

Beautiful shot!
We have had a growing family of Canadian Geese visiting the pond out back these last few weeks.
