Photo Tour of Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park in Montana, USA is one of the most beautiful locations in all North America. A favorite of landscape photographers the world over and a must-add to any photo road trip around the US, the vistas that youre greeted with in this park are guaranteed to stay with you for years to come.

This 1 million acre wonderland, the centerpiece of what is referred to as The Crown of Continent Ecosystem, contains parts of 2 mountain ranges, 25 active glaciers, hundreds of species of animals, 130 named lakes, and over 1,000 species of plants just waiting for you to train your lens on their pristine beauty.

Wow! This is somewhere I want to go!

All those rocks were so colorful! I wonder what kinds they are! The green ones are exceptionally striking! And the waterfalls are simply gorgeous!

Really neat place-- I'm so glad it is to be preserved!

Robert,

These are incredible! Just spent the last hour perusing the website - absolutely fabulous photography.

Makes one want to pack a bag and go on an adventure :)

But alas, grocery shopping will take priority todayGrin.gif

I've been to Glacier a number of times, and the photos actually depict it quite well. It's a stunning park. I actually enjoy it more than Yellowstone.

Great find RIO.

I did not find any specifics in the linked article regarding the camera(s) and other technical information; I suspect some of the images are HDR (High Dynamic Range) format but I'd love to know for sure.

I will re-read the article.

Beautiful beyond belief.
