A good photo - catching the fish jumping, but I much preferred the first photo.
Unlike the DOM, I like this one, seeing the fish fighting is well, very cool.
Preference is often a subjective phenomenon particularly with art, music and literature. This shot was much more a matter of luck than the other while both required a degree of anticipation, this one was literally a fraction of a second, one way or another, away from being what it is.
I suppose, having caught my share of fish, my "guess" as to when to click the shutter was somewhat an "educated" one; still, I consider the shot to be to a certain extent, a "lucky" one.
