Great illustrations varying from cute to macabre and everything in between
Enjoy
I thought the Viewmaster bra was an interesting concept.

Glad you liked it - you noticed I included the descriptor "everything in between"
I think I like the 3rd one up, by Mike Wolff. There is a lot to see in it.
You're right - I took another look at it and could identify so many things in it.
That one reminds me of an artist I once knew-- Mark Stamaty. Although there are differences, their styles are somewhat similar. (All or mainly B&W, and lots of details!):
Excellent! I love detailed work like that. It seems to me there was quite a lot of it about from the late 60's into the 70's. In underground magazines and Comics. Love it!

Beautiful stuff
Thanks for sharing
Exactly-- you are obviously familar with that genre. I think of him as a really perceptive observor of society at the time. Here's another really cool Stamaty illustration. (There are lots more on his website) :
When I read that, the first artist that comes to mind is the famous (or possibly infamous?) Robert Crumb.
That guy was brilliant! Some of his stuff was a bit NSFW, so I won't post it here
The darkside of 60s hip culture...
and observation of contemporary society:
Stamaty...Crumb...Ginsberg... Kerouac... Joplin... memories of a bygone era...
{sigh}
(album cover by R. Crumb)
Keep on truckin was by far his most famous, but I loved the "I'm not here to be polite!" one the most. It was always great to have a copy on your office wall.
very nice.
You're welcome. The one you posted by Mike Wolff set me off-- jogged my mind and brought back a whole slew of memories-- work by illustrators who were "social commentators" of that era. Interesting times..and some very interesting artists.
And BTW, thank you or seeding this-- a nice change from the political balderdash that appears here all too often....
Love this !!!
