Can I ask, what do you mount it to... ie what model DSLR are you using?

A Nikon D610 the lens and camera together a bit heavy but well worth carrying (along with a tripod).

Thanks for that; macro-flower imagery is exactly what I had in mind.
I figured that brother, that one bloom is about the size of a dinner soup bowl without the rim. About 7.5" across.

Kickin' some bird butt for sure!! Detail is outstanding. Anxiously awaiting flora pics.
As usual Mac, you sometimes make me wish I still lived up North. I MUST get my camera out and take some photos of the beauty to be found in the desert and it is there. Thanks again for some amazing shots.
Nothing wrong with photos of cactus flowers, or desert sunsets.
