I used to love to drill in fields with cows! They always came up to me, until I noticed them, then they sheepishly walked away, as if they had bothered me somehow. I love to watch cows-- they have their own society...
Sweet little beaver! I notice the cows don't get too close-- I guess they know that beavers have sharp teeth!
I think the cows are hoping the Beaver is going to lead them South to a warmer climate! To hell with those cold Saskatchewan winters!
BTW, does anyone know why TV stations, even networks, blur out the sides of videos like that, even when they're not blocking out anything objectionable? It's really, really, really, really, really, really irritating! I mean what's the point? To center attention? Why not just show the slice of the video they want people to see then?
Thanks for all the compliments here, guys. Of course the beaver is our National Animal - appears on the nickel coin. In Ottawa there are stands where they sell "beavertails" (not REAL tails, but it's a food on a stick that LOOKS like a beaver tail). They are hard working animals. Hence the expression "Busy as a beaver". It takes a while for them to chew the branches into sticks and build a dam with them across a creek with their partially submerged hut behind it.
As for the blurring of the sides of the video (although I cannot open it - will have to ask Sixpick to put it into a format I can open - but I have never seen blurring at the edges of any Canadian TV station broadcasts. It must be unique to this particular program.
I hope you can see this one Buzz. This one still has the camera held improperly while they were recording blurring both sides, actually making a narrow recording instead of a full screen recording. I thought this version was a little clearer than the one in the article, but it doesn't have the news station talking about it. In other words, it's just the beaver and the cattle and is shorter because of it. It is a little better if you click on full screen.
Buzz and Buckey will become famous across Canada and the world.

The cows would stop when Buckey stopped and would start following him as soon as he started moving again.
They keep a respectable distance from Bruckey, probably heard about those teeth.
DON'T MESS WITH BEAVERS!!!!
They are feisty and smart, and mean! So they mean business when they herd. Go Buzz and Buckey, go!
LMAO, Buzz and Buckey the dynamic duo.
I can see!

I have no idea why that is done, Randy.
We'll have to ask Buzz, probably something to do with movie rights...
I got it Randy. Buckey has a contract with MGM....Limited screen viewing without permission.
AHA! Question answered! It's still irritating, but at least I know why it's irritating!
You know, maybe it's to block out the logo of the station or network that originally broadcast it?
Or maybe there are secretly beautiful naked women behind those blurs that only the station managers get to see! The bastards!
Just ask IPANA Trump.

The RCMP are going to be replaced by Buckey the Beaver and his faithful sidekick, Buzz.
And here's Bucky, the RCMP replacement:
Buzz works under cover - no photos allowed.
LOL, good one undercover agent Buzz.

Kinda' gets your goat.
Ewe said it.
How you RAMble-on.
And I wool continue to do so.
Appropriate for any THREAD, Buzz.
You guys are so baaaaaaaa.......d
Now you're just needling me.
No, It's just that I think you're telling a yarn.....
You have to stop stringing me along.
I get the point.
Now you're being sharp.
I can't open it, Six.
Amazing, then, that I can.
Canadian secret agents with Buckey as their partner have secret powers...
Don't tell anyone.
You must have a magic decoder ring, or Buckey does.
Buckey only speaks Beavarian - it's a kind of Germanic language.
LOL, that darn Buckey always pulling a fast one.
He's been known as "Quick-Draw McBuck". Nobody is faster with a crayon.
