But what you're also forgetting is that the game was played in the Skydome, and the roof would have been closed. No rain dates needed in Toronto.
Oh, and for those who don't know what A.Mac and I are talking about, it was when the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Phillies to win their back-to-back World Series. I was there, for what was for me the most exciting moment in sports, when Joe Carter hit the line drive into the left field stands to win the game, and the series.
I love the blue jays and their color, but hate that they're so mean to the other birds...
We have a couple that hang around the back yard, and when Tommy goes out, they dive bomb him. Tommy doesn't mind, he acts as if to say, "What was that? Oh look! Another dandelion to sniff!"
If only it had rained that night back during the 1983 World Series.*
* I speculate that Buzz will clarify this for any/all who have no idea what it means.
You're just a decade out, A.Mac.

1993 ... My Freudian slip; the Phillies lost the 1983 Series to the Orioles.
LOL
Ouch!
Great picture, dear A. Mac!

Then,
Good night.
I don't know why, but , I seem to see more Blue Jays during the Winter months than in the warm weather.
Great shot as always Mac!
Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird. We never see them out here and I miss them. The bird, not the team.
