You mean Keurgs? I love mine but won't buy the pre-filled thingies. There is a part you can switch out that lets you brew one cup of coffee at a time using a screen basket you fill with any ground coffee.
I'm planning to devise my own $500 water dispenser that will only accept proprietary 16 oz. bottles of water that sell for $6 each. It will be loaded with entirely hackable software, and a camera and microphone for good measure.

I'm actually a bit surprised this company hasn't been sued by a few state AGs. The unit clearly does nothing worthwhile for so much money.
