In another thread today, I was asked several times about my religious affiliation and was essentially told that without being of a particular religion, I thus, essentially had no credentials to discuss religious beliefs.
In the event the individual who made those inquiries stops in, my religious affiliation is with Whomever or Whatever created the stuff in the photos. I never pray for anything, I do say "thank You" however. If one isn't spontaneously moved to offer such in the presence of Nature, one may indeed have found "religion" however, in my opinion
one may not have necessarily found "God".
I tend to do better with manifested rather than presumed validation.
Nets are an example of the inefficiency of mans creations, where capturing the available essence that the great creator freely gives us is so much better.
And thank you for giving the talent to a wonderfully patient human to share such essence with the rest of us less talented.

I'm thankful to the purveyor of these beauties and for your artistic abilityto capture andshare them in such splendor.
Regarding the other thread, your doctrine and mocking points are spot on...IMO.
Who said you need nets to capture butterflies?

Thanks Mac.
Both your photo's and comments are right on the mark.
I see nothing wrong with sharing the same belief in God as Spinoza and Einstein professed:
It is nature that has created the beauty in the flora and fauna so ably captured by A.Mac's camera.
Yay...more butterflies! The second one, Common Buckeye, is amazing! As always, thanks, Mac!
Mac amazing job as usual. I happen to like the Peacock in particular.
I am always amazed by your encyclopedic knowledge of both butterflies and birds...
Gives you flights of fancy....
Wingin' it is a way I like to go.
Beautiful Flutter Byes! I can't wait until they come around here....
Great photos Mac, thanks for all the wonderful postings.
