I thought the streams in Todays postings, might have been a little GREENER, but I do envy.
.
One year, many moons back, 20 or so semi professional drinking buddies & myself, were Trout fishing in a stream right off of 209, just after passing 534 headed towards Brodheadsville from 476. It was property owned by my buddy's soon to be ex in laws at the time so we were trying to lay low. We weren't catching much except for a load. Being semi familiar with the area, I had the brilliant idea to go and purchase a couple hundred dollars of live trout from the fish nursery.
No one told drunk guys, the fish might need to acclimate.
Long story short, this 'thinking' drunkard, had damned off down stream, and was at least able to salvage a damn expensive Trout dinner
The saturation, while somewhat modified, in terms of hues … are correct.
5) was photographed in late afternoon sunlight … it faces due west.
3) was photographed in autumn and the deciduous trees were yellow green as the trees were beginning to absorb the green chlorophyll as they do when the periods of daylight decrease as dark periods increase day-to-day.
Magnificent! As always expected from you! I don't believe in all of the years on here you have ever done a bad photo post, especially the nature ones. You are becoming our resident Ansel Adams!
Stuff from MY DOSSIER.
Dear Friend A. Mac: Vetted.

תודה רבה לך
I don't know, shots 4 & 5 have a tint slightly leaning towards another famous dossier...
.
4 appears to have a manmade stone dam, secret fishing hole ?
Wild Brook Trout country … catch and gently release.
4) The dam at that part of the stream is man-made … an early power structure.

We can try to get you the first-hand experience.
Love the colors, it must have been fall.
Once again, you have brightened my day. Thank you so much.
And a comment like yours, brightens mine.
Are you willing to explain the yellow/green hue of those stream photos?

LOL. I didn't know that this photo would be the one on the top of the Front Page when I got it off the internet and posted it here.

Sorry, but I prefer the political Mac, to the artsy fartsy Mac. Enough of this fluff, get back in there and start kicking conservative butt more!!
The arts and music transcend the political diatribe - some of us are capable of providing some of our time and efforts to other interests as well.
Yes Buzz.
Here's the reason your smiley is correct, Lenny. It is proper protocol for you to kowtow to me:
It could have been the perfect photo if my Rockport Walker didn't peek out from under the table.
But that's okay, you can get up off your knees now.
