First Day of Spring … Perfect Wildlife Photography Weather

I still have a good 4-5 hours of daylight on this first day of Spring, 2015. I've already been damn lucky in getting some shots of the locals; here's one, and I have many more, some of which I'll post later this evening, or, on other days.

First day of Spring and no complaints.

Hopefully, from a photographic standpoint, I'm just scratchin' the surface today.

Beautiful picture!

Spring is finally comingto NE Ohio and the animals are out in force

Yesterday morning was the beginning officially in our back yard, robins, a couple grackles, red and black squirrels and a couple of rabbits within the space of an hour.

One more from today; it's been slow here, I think everyone is over at Perrie's "Slap" article. The photographic action however, was fast in my backyard. Good night all.

Was off doingfun stuff - Spent the evening viewing artistic works in Hanepepe. Friday evening is art night where galleries stay open late, street vendors display local crafts (a few look like made in China, haha), local music and of course food. From photography, acrylics, watercolors, wood and some marbling, it was a spectacular feast for the eyes!

Looks like your first day of spring was magical as well.

Caption for the Cardinal: "You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me?"

Alternate caption: "So take the damn picture already, I'm freezing here."

Such a beauty! Her delicate little foot manages to do just fine...

Lovely picture! Thanks for posting it!

And that cardinal has his eye on you! He looks wary...
