3) One of my "babies" … I raised him from an egg on a Milkweed leaf; the two spots alongside the abdomen identify this one as a MALE.

There seems to be a glitch with photo uploading … I am unable to center photos … looking into it.

thanks for posting!

Your Welcome !

My wife and I plant specifically for butterflies every year. But the "Bee's.....THE BEE'S....they seem to get in the way every once-in-awhile. jrSmiley_19_smiley_image.gif

A few....and far between.....hummingbirds now and again. They are waaaaaay Cool in my book.

The bees are crucial to the success of your planting … of which I am sure you are aware; and the Hummingbirds are a plus!

A personal note … despite our political disparities, it is a hopeful sign (for all), that you and I have other things … GOOD, POSITIVE things in common.

Again, I thank you for your posting and your presence.

I'm allergic to bees.....and Wasps. Pretty little buggers, but oh so dangerous to me. jrSmiley_19_smiley_image.gif

"GOOD, POSITIVE things in common."

When folks get themselves OUT of Politics, they'd be surprised how much each other has in common. jrSmiley_81_smiley_image.gif

Usually I see them at the roulette wheel … you got this one at the craps table!

Posted image 3) … I took a few editorial liberties and made it more "painting" than photograph.*

Bougainvillea … beautiful!

The "petals" are actually leaves or "bracts" … the flowers are the structures in the center of the bracts.
