Dems still confused by racist, hateful, clueless GOP voters

Leaders of the Democratic Party keep talking down to Christian voters even while claiming they want to reach them and earn their vote.
At a gathering of far-left activists, DNC chairman Tom Perez complained that pastors' conservative sermons are one reason Democrats' message doesn't resonate with churchgoers.
"Their principle sources of information are Fox News, their NRA newsletter, and the pulpit on Sunday," Perez complained to the gathering of Demand Justice, which formed this year to fight for "progressive change" in the federal courts.
"And it should come as a surprise to no one," he added, "that our message doesn't penetrate."
Perez's rant singled out the abortion issue, when he complained that the churchgoers are told to focus on Roe v Wade but ignore other issues.
Kristin Day of Democrats for Life tells OneNewsNow there is not a single leading Democrat who understands the pro-life right.
"With the Democratic candidates for president who have been named," she says, "I don't see one that can really bring the party together so far: Cory Booker, Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren."
It's not new to hear Democratic leaders suggest conservative voters are brainless, hateful and racist, but many of those voters have good memories, too.
"So it's not surprising then," Barack Obama told a San Francisco fund-raiser in 2008, "that they get bitter, and they cling to guns, or religion, or antipathy towards people who aren't like them."
Then-Democratic primary opponent Hillary Clinton said at the time she was "taken aback by the demeaning remarks," but it wasn't too long until the presidential nominee was describing a "basket of deplorables" to a similar audience.
"The racists, sexists, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic," Clinton said. "You name it."
Day says Democrats would be wise to get over the "fear" of pro-life people, suggesting that the far-left party would be wise to embrace a pro-life politician such as Louisiana's governor, John Bel Edwards.
But the far-left Democratic Party doesn't seem to be listening to that suggestion.
“"So it's not surprising then," Barack Obama told a San Francisco fund-raiser in 2008, "that they get bitter, and they cling to guns, or religion, or antipathy towards people who aren't like them."

This site is so far to the right it's bordering on fascism.
Fascism is national socialism and is of the left. As to the site, it is a mainstream Christian site that includes coverage and opinion on news and politics. You know that I am an evangelical Christian and a conservative and that a site like this one is totally natural to me to read.
STOP THIS LIE ABOUT FASCISM. If you don't have a proper understanding of WWII, please just stop talking about it. You are trying to redefine fascism and what happened, and it is really offensive when take with the overt racism embraced by the right. You call yourself an evangelical, how exactly does Trump embody your values to elicit such support? His lies? His racism? His ego? His cheating? His adultery? His sexual abuse of women? His hate of our allies or love of murderous tyrants? His disregard for humanity? Him thinking he is above the law? His treason? Can't wait to hear.
Facism and Hitler are examples of extreme right authoritarian conservatism. If Hitler was such a liberal then why did he send gays, progressives and union leaders/organizers to the concentration camps?
Liberals and progressives are in the lower left quadrant.
You got eyes and ears? I've been watching the fucker for decades and so has anybody else who cared to pay attention.
And you will find hitler and Stalin closer together than hitler and Milton Friedman the conservative economist. And it’s not even close.
I vote Pro Women, pro mind your own fucking business
I do too based on recommendations of the largest women’s rights group, Concerned Women For America.
Another bs group and it's NOT the largest. I know if you repeat a lie often enough people will believe....nazi propaganda courtesy of Joseph Goebbels the minister of nazi propaganda.
It’s the largest and the best. They are the antidote to the wild wickedness of NOW.
No they are not, they are fucking busy bodies that need a life of their own and keep their noses out of another woman's uterus. Keep the lie going.
That such a large women’s rights organization and its membership of women disagree with you means that there is no universal women’s position in favor of the taking of innocent human life.
They don't get the whole 'talking down to' thing doesn't really work with independent adults.
That is the bottom line.
not too confusing. look who they voted for.
The very definition of the headline makes an appearance.
