Angel mom of slain officer: Schumer, Pelosi are ‘committing treasonous acts’ by not protecting us, Americans have woken up

(Video screenshots)“ Angel mom ” Mary Ann Mendoza, the mother of deceased Arizona police Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, knows what it feels like to lose a loved one because of the obstinate refusal by Democrats to simply allow America’s law enforcement officers to enforce the country’s immigration laws.
“On May 12, 2014, [Brandon] was on his way home from work, and a three-time legal limit drunk, repeat illegal alien criminal high on meth had driven over 35 miles the wrong way on four different freeways in Phoenix before slamming head-on into my son,” she said Saturday on Fox News .

At the time of her son’s death in 2014, Mendoza noted that the man who killed her son had been able to do so because of Democrat-driven policies that allow criminal aliens to remain in America.
“The prosecutors were ‘lenient’ on him and several charges were dismissed,” she wrote in a letter at the time to then-President Barack Obama about the criminal history of her son’s killer.
“When he was convicted of these crimes in 1994 and the government knew he was in the country illegally, why wasn’t he deported? Why are any of these illegal criminals in this country?”
Four years later, not only do the same questions remain unanswered, but the same sorts of unnecessary tragedies keep occurring over and over again all across the country.
The latest tragedy happened in California, where last Wednesday, the day after Christmas, criminal alien suspect Gustavo Perez Arriaga opened fire on and murdered Newman Police Department Cpl. Ronil Singh, a legal immigrant, after Singh pulled him over for a traffic violation.
Just like with the man who murdered Mendoza’s son, it turns out that Arriaga had previously been arrested on other charges but never transferred into the custody of immigration authorities.
Arriaga had specifically benefited from the far left’s “sanctuary city” policies . Thanks to these policies, he was not transferred into the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement when local authorities arrested him two times in the past for driving under the influence.
But why do these policies exist? According to Mendoza, it’s because of Democrat political leaders like House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
“I look at Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer that they’re actually committing treasonous acts against the American people when they are placing illegal aliens and their rights and their protection ahead of their fellow American citizens who have actually voted them into office and who are paying their salaries in D.C.,” she argued Saturday on Fox News.
“And every politician in D.C. should be listening closely to the American people right now because we have woken up, and we’re tired of the lies that come out of their mouth.”
“Nancy has the gall to stand in front of the camera and say, ‘Criminals don’t come over the border. They don’t bring diseases. They don’t bring crime.'”

Both Pelosi and Schumer likewise bear responsibility for President Donald Trump’s inability to meet his campaign obligations and construct a much-needed wall along the U.S. southern border.
Two weeks ago House Republicans passed a spending bill that included funding for the wall. Because of obstruction by Pelosi and Schumer, the bill remains stalled while America’s border remains unsecured.
Democrats have defended this obstruction by trotting out arguments such as the claim that bona fide Americans allegedly commit more crimes than illegals. Why this is relevant is unclear.
“The acceptable amount of crime in our country committed against American citizens by illegal aliens is zero,” Mendoza noted. “The argument they commit less crime than Americans is a non-issue.”
It’s a non-issue because illegal aliens wouldn’t be able to commit any crimes in the first place were they not allowed to cross into the United States and set up shop in “sanctuary cities.”
“The amount of crime we should accept is zero. And this is just another death that’s added to the toll of tens of thousands of Americans who’ve been killed by illegal alien criminals in our country.”
While this valid point has been noted by conservatives numerous times, Democrats and their media allies refuse to acknowledge it. Instead, they’ve taken to attacking “angel parents” like Mendoza by portraying them as “hateful and obsessive racists for supporting stricter enforcement of immigration laws and harsh punishments for their kids’ murderers,” according to NewsBusters.
Yet despite the left’s narrative, it’s clear that a majority of Americans back “angel moms” like Mendoza, not to mention the man trying to bring them justice, President Trump.

What do they all have in common? Well, just like if the man who killed Mendoza had been deported he'd still be alive, if all these killers had all been aborted hundreds of lives would have been saved. So by that logic, we should abort all children, right HA? We can't risk having a mass murderer born, just like we can't risk an illegal immigrant committing a crime, right HA?
The fact is immigrants (illegal or otherwise) commit less crime than native born citizens. To use the anecdotal evidence of a handful of crimes they committed to vilify all undocumented immigrants as these right wing propaganda pieces like to do is dishonest and frankly disgusting.
I'll tell you what is disgusting, those who minimize the impact of thousands who could care less about the law or anyone else around them....

The study in that Times article has one very serious flaw. It compares the rate of the immigrant population (both legal & illegal combined) with the rate of crime. Even if the rate of crime is falling as the rate of immigration is rising, that does not tell us what percentage of the crime involves illegal immigrants. That would seem to be the straight forward way to determine the truth. So far, I don't think anyone has done that.
The difference is that there is no legitimate reason to risk any illegal alien committing any crime here. They are here illegally. They do not belong here. Every crime committed here by an illegal is one too many. We can’t control whether a citizen born here turns ok ok or not. We have much more control over enemy hostile illegal invader aliens doing bad things here instead of elsewhere.
Any deflection they can think of to not build the wall.
You may remember this picture. It is when Chuck Schumer cried over the "travel ban" saying it was "mean-spirated" and un-American.
Yet I never saw him get emotional or cry for the Americans slain by Illegal aliens!
I saw her on Fox News over the weekend. She has every reason to be angry at the democrats over what has happened to her son at the hands of an illegal alien. This simply keeps happening and won’t stop as these people who shouldn’t have ever been here victimize American citizens in our own country. Even more sickening was that jerkwad De Leon the state senator from California who sponsored the stupid sanctuary law responsible for getting a legal immigrant citizen cop 🚓 killed by an illegal with gang ties who rather than say anything about the Newman police officer, attacked the sheriff who pointed out his law as the sole reason the officer is no longer with us.

Drunk drivers kill 10,000 people in the USA each year. Why is this ONE, grabbing so much attention? Yes it's tragic, but it's a drop in the bucket.
Oh wait, it's because the offender was an illegal. That somehow makes it worse than the other 9,999 that weren't committed by illegals? Where is the outrage about all the other drunk driver deaths? Oh that's right, we don't want to talk about those because there are not political talking points to be gained there.

I agree with you, using this one death as a political ploy is dumb and disgusting. But don't make it a right wing thing as the other side does the same thing for their hot topics, like gun control. Hold the individual accountable and move on. And hold congress to fix the issues instead of playing their games with politics. There are too many problems in this country, we really don't need either side playing politics. We need serious people who will get down to working for the betterment of this country.

It does indeed. The crimes committed in the USA by illegal aliens are a major and very serious issue. All crimes that would never have happened if they weren’t here illegally. The ones that happen after being released because of a sanctuary law preventing law enforcement from reporting the criminal to ICE make ones blood boil in anger. State Sen. De Leon should be brought up on aiding and abetting an illegal alien murderer for pushing AB54 the state sanctuary law that coerces local governments and private business into not cooperating with ICE.

It's going on all over the country, I don't believe that there is one single county nationwide who hasn't seen some sort of uptick in illegal immigrant crime.
Again, there is no excuse for crimes committed by people who don’t belong here and shouldn’t have been here. Some of the drunk driving crimes were committed by the enemy invaders of our country. Saying other crimes happen is no excuse for these 100% preventable crimes or for not building the wall.
God only knows how many Americans have to get raped, kidnapped, trafficked, or killed before wall opponents will be guilt tripped into allowing the wall to be built.
Protecting the borders is one of the primary purposes of a national government. It's really not an option, for those who'd like America to exist in 2100. Ask the Romans how well opening the borders to migrant caravans worked out for them.
That’s the bottom line. It’s time to build the wall. It’s time to hold those in government who block the wall from being built morally responsible for the crimes their actions are causing. The blood of every American citizen injured, maimed, or killed by an illegal alien here is now on their hands.
