I'm glad that you now display your bird photos along with some supporting object - a branch in this case. It provides an element of reality to the photos.
This is about as close as I can get to follow your theme of wildlife:
The Zebra photo was taken many years ago at the Philadelphia Zoo … obviously, I edited the photo to exploit the tonality … which ranges from almost zero percent black to 100% black with quite a bit of gradation in-between.
Think of it as something I do "on-the-side."
Did you photograph the Zebra in a zoo?

Yes, you did a great job with that. The tonal range is quite interesting and effective. It adds a kind of multidimensional effect to the image.
looks like u ducked the theme
One rockin' robin.
All 3 are beautiful, as always. But the robin is my favorite of these 3.
Greatly appreciate the sidebar comments!
Great photos and I'm torn between the buck and the robin, although the zebra is pretty darn cool.
I think that's called a ''fence sitter''....

Couldn't resist.
"Yes! I'm "PROFILING"! Got a problem with that? "

Like the White-tailed Deer, Buck photo.
