Hypocrite!!! In 1998 Nadler Didn’t Want Starr Report Released Until Redacted
Twenty-one years ago Jerrold Nadler was on the house judiciary committee when Ken Starr turned over his report on then-President Bill Clinton. Back then he didn’t want anything released before it was redacted for grand jury testimony and information that would hurt people who weren’t charged.
Mr. Nadler said he was not convinced that Mr. Clinton committed perjury or obstructed justice, but that even if the President did, the offenses would not be impeachable.
”An impeachable offense is an abuse of Presidential power designed to or with the effect of undermining the structure or function of government, or undermining constitutional liberties,” he told several hundred people at the recent town hall meeting at the Fashion Institute of Technology."
In December 1998 while making his argument against impeaching Clinton, Nadler argued on the House floor saying. “There are clearly some members of the Republican majority who have never accepted the results of the 1992 or 1996 elections,”
Democrats are "Smart" Maroons !
And folks actually fall for the "Lefts" "Hypocrisy" and are still allowed to "VOTE" !!
I suppose that's the entire Democrats Policy ! They know their voters have really, really, really "Short" memories. A day or two at most.
Come onnnnn ... Aren't we supposed to believe that Nadler merely "evolved" between 1998 and 2019?
Democrats do seem to say that ……. ALOT …… when they're caught !
And later on, he said.....
"For anyone to go through the report and the documents and to understand them and to start making judgments as to what’s in there is gonna take weeks."
Well, it's going to take until the middle of April a the very least, and certain things by law, will be redacted.
You and I seem to know that, but the Democrat Politicians don't seem to want their constituents to think that way !
They just want their constituents running around the streets willy nilly….. AGAIN !
Sorry....I was really, really, really trying to give them "Some" benefit of the doubt. Feelings....nothing more than Feelings...
I'm beginning to get the impression that the Democrat philosophy in Congress is "Do as I say, not as I do".
Political tribalism. It's all about what the party needs, not what's right, wrong, or even legal.
What a non surprise! Typical though. And not one progressive here to defend or rationalize their leaders pure hypocrisy.
