Yikes! Biden: ‘Poor Kids Are Just As Bright And Just As Talented As White Kids’

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Oh my, this one may just do Sleepy Joe in…

Via   NY Post:

Gaffe-prone presidential hopeful Joe Biden put his foot in his mouth during an Iowa campaign stop on Thursday when he told a group of predominately Asian and Hispanic voters that “poor kids are just as bright, just as talented, as white kids.”

Biden committed the stunning blunder while speaking about education at a town hall with the Asian and Latino Coalition in Des Moines, where he’s campaigning and fundraising for the 2020 Democratic primary.

“We should challenge students in these schools and have advanced placement programs in these schools. We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it,” Biden said at the event, according to video of his remarks.

“Poor kids are just as bright, just as talented, as white kids,” he added.

See?

What would have happened had Trump made any such comment?

24/7 news coverage, with MSNBC and CNN talking heads screeching how racist such a comment is.

I wonder if Biden thinks that only if they are clean and speak well?

Obviously Joe dosen't think there are any poor white kids:

“poor kids are just as bright, just as talented, as white kids.”

A truly racist statement, except for liberals who define racist statements as telling the truth about rat-infested Democrat-run cities.

We must remember that this is the person who is the frontrunner for the Democratic Party nomination.

Now, let's see how many Democrats come out to denounce this statement.

Got the feeling that this will be whitewashed.

No pun intended.

Cracks me up when an article is factual and when they realize that the comments are a problem, well, magically, it becomes a "deflection".

Seems like THAT is deflecting to me--attempting to make Biden's remarks about Trump, but hey, that double standard some insist on using is evident.

Can you imagine that had he decided to run in 16 after Obama as his “third term” he’d likely be our President now making these mistakes?

And Trump is a walking racist, misogynist, and xenophobe.

Which would you prefer?  Someone that makes a mistake every now and then, or someone that rules based on hate?

Never mind, I know which YOU prefer.

Does anything other than an article bashing Trump now qualify as a deflection for you?

Do you think Biden messed up or do you agree with him?

Speech at the state fairground in Des Moines -

“There is nothing we’ve ever decided to do we’ve been unable to do," he said. "Period. That’s not hyperbole. We have never, never, never failed when we’re together. And ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to get up. Everybody knows who Donald Trump is. Even his supporters know who he is. We got to let him know who we are. We choose unity over division. We choose science over fiction. We choose truth over facts ."

This was a good read:

Do you know anyone who speaks with great certainty about everything? Someone who makes statements such as, “Wrong!” or “That’s ridiculous!” or “You're completely incorrect!” when someone disagrees with him or her?

Such people are often insufferable and are seldom genuinely liked. Their philosophy is “I think I know, therefore I absolutely know!” Or they declare, “My opinion is not just an opinion, it's a fact.”

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Trump started his campaign with (in effect): 'I am unabashedly rich, I am crude, I am a jerk, that is how I roll'.   Biden is well known for his gaffes.   Trump seems to be immune to backlash for being caustic and crude.   I wonder if Biden will be similarly immune to backlash on gaffes ('yeah, that is just how Biden is').

Joe is not unfamiliar with the taste of his own shoes. He frequently sticks his foot in his mouth and has been doing so for decades. While this is a humorous gaff and may or may not effect his candidacy, it's not as if he called all white kids "rapists". I'd much rather see a Liz Warren/Michelle Obama ticket than vote for another old white male career politician prone to gaffs and weirdly inappropriate hugs and hair sniffing. With that said, virtually anything other than Trump would be a relief from this political nightmare we've been saddled with since 2016. A half eaten room temp tuna sandwich would make a better President than defective Donald.

It is for the left. Biden's problem is there is DECADES of racist comments and associations that are on record and fairly easily retrievable.

With Trump, however, much of the things he is accused of saying is by third party persons with little to no true documentation.

While both of them have said some stupid shit, Biden by far has more against him.
