Schiff Names Eric Ciaramella As Whistleblower

UNITED STATES—Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee revealed the whistleblower listed on transcripts in the impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump, as Eric Ciaramella.
RealClear Investigations first published their suspicions about Ciaramella, who is a CIA analyst. He worked at The White House on October 30.
Ciaramella was at the center of the impeachment probe. He was there in the White House through the Mueller Investigation, and according to multiple news sources worked in the Obama administration under Vice President Biden.
Whistleblower Reported To Be CIA Analyst Formerly Assigned To the White House.
Democrats in Congress insisted that the name be kept secret for the whistleblower’s own protection.
“Democrats this week blocked Republicans from asking more questions about him and intended to redact his name from all deposition transcripts,” wrote RealClear Investigations.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul took the stage on at the Trump Rally on November 4 said:
“We now also know the name of the whistleblower. The whistleblower needs to come before Congress as a material witness because he worked for Joe Biden at the time Hunter Biden was getting money from corrupt alagarks. I say tonight to the media, do your job, and print his name, and I say this to my fellow colleagues in Congress and every Republican in Washington, step up and subpoena Hunter Biden and subpoena the whistleblower.”
Sen. Paul spoke out publicly naming the whistleblower and citing the Sixth Amendment which notes that during all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall have the opportunity to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed.
The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution adds that the district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

I keep seeing this and it's so dumb. It's more fake hysteria. The whistleblower is in no danger. Whistleblower statutes are there to keep whistleblowers from on-the-job retaliation like being fired or denied promotions, etc.
Why are they not generally about protecting them from physical harm? Probably because physically harming someone is already a crime. It has been for thousands of years!.

This "article" was written on Nov.8, long before Republicans on the house committees continued to accuse Schiff of keeping the whistleblowers name secret.
If Adam Schiff reveled the whistleblowers name, why are the Republicans still accusing him of hiding it?

That may be true, but it dosen't really change the fact that the WB's identity was known by many even before Nov 8. Two months ago, I recall Hannity saying he knew who it was but didn't want to be the one to publicly reveal it. I'm sure many in DC knew. Now it's out and so it the detail that we all knew was true is out with it. He was a progressive doing whatever he could to hurt Trump. What a freakin' surprise.
The identity of the whistleblower is utterly meaningless. We know what happened. Now it is just a question if the Senate will have the guts to hold Trump accountable.

We need some answers from him like why both he and Schiff were dishonest about their meeting together, why certain pars of the WB form were left empty and who did he hear it from (even though we know it was Vndman).
