The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to an ICU ward in a hospital in London. There is speculation he could be placed on a ventilator. The reins of the UK government have been handed over temporarily to the Home Secretary.
It wasn't just well received, it was brilliant, magnificent, the kind of speech any intelligent leader should give to rally the masses, provoke courage and calm the concerned. As a citizen of a country that is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations over which she is the monarch, I am proud of her. She was at one time proud enough of me to have bestowed upon me the honour of being "One of Her Majesty's Counsel Learned in the Law", allowing me the privilege to place the letters "Q.C." after my name (Queen's Counsel).
Get well soon Boris.
I hope he has a quick recovery.
And the hits just keep on comin'.
Hopefully this doesn't mean a ventilator. The numbers get pretty ugly for patients once they need a ventilator.
Yea, they seem to be a turnstile.
Kinda makes me wonder if we should be as concerned about ventilators as we have been.
It seems like these world leaders would be particularly susceptible given how many different people they meet in a given day.
So sorry to hear this. Disease knows no title or economics.
The great equalizer.
I did read the Queens speech was well received.

I heard he was hospitalized because his temp wouldn’t come down.
Apparently Jesus hates those that have bad hair and a dark soul.
