  • In an interview with   NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday , White House trade adviser Peter Navarro criticized congressional Democrats for debates over new coronavirus aid.
  • One day after President Donald Trump signed four executive orders to bypass gridlock in Congress, Navarro told NBC that the "Lord and Founding Fathers created executive orders because of partisan bickering and divided government."
  • Navarro also claimed there is a "theory that the Democrats would prefer to see the economy go into the tank for another 90 days because that harms the president."
  • Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi on Sunday criticized President Donald Trump's new executive orders, noting that the orders   push states to cover relief expenses even as they're already experiencing a shortage of funding.
  • "It doesn't help when Speaker Pelosi goes out every day with her scarves flying and just beats the heck out of us for being cruel people," Navarro said.
  • When host Chuck Todd asked where Trump was during negotiations for coronavirus relief bills, Navarro insisted "this is the hardest-working president in history."
  • Trump signed the executive orders on Saturday   at his New Jersey golf club to provide new actions for   federal unemployment, student loan relief, a payroll tax cut, and evictions .

Ah! The story of Peter Navarro...  d29734c8123948ee8b9ff13322a7e262.gif

Way back when the Donald was setting up his White House team, he figured he'd need an economist, and a China expert. So he called in Jared and told him to get it done!

"Economics?? China??   ...  What the fuck?  I'm a New York slum lord... What do I know about those things?"

Somebody suggested an Internet search. Google not being mercantile enough, Jared went to Amazon. He found a guy named Peter Navarro .

Navarro must have done well in his job-interview, because he was hired as "China trade advisor" and, remarkably in that team, has not been fired.

Navarro's books often cite an expert named Ron Vara. Think anagram...

To simplify it for those on the left, "Trump has a cell phone and pen."; just like Obama. Not one peep out of the left about Obama's abusive EOs/EAs, and departmental adjustments.

See if you believe in the divine right of Kings - you have to invoke God before you try to rationalize the outrageous behavior of the King.

I just learned that America's current wealth gap is wider than that of France in 1789, right before the revolution, so that's nice.
