RNC speaker pulled after tweet surfaced promoting anti-Semitic conspiracy theories
Mary Ann Mendoza was removed from her speaking slot just hours before she was set to appear at Tuesday night's Republican National Convention after she was found to have promoted a series of tweets positing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
Mendoza is on the advisory board of President Trump's re-election campaign. She has been an outspoken advocate for Trump's immigration policies. Her son was killed in 2014 by a drunk driver who was an undocumented immigrant.
Mendoza was removed from her slot sometime before 6 p.m. ET, according to a Trump campaign source. Mendoza's prepared remarks were still sent out to media organizations.
"We have removed the scheduled video from the convention lineup and it will no longer run this week," Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh told NBC News.
In a tweet on Tuesday morning, Mendoza encouraged her followers to read a long Twitter thread that featured a wide variety of known anti-Semitic conspiracy theories as well as references to QAnon. She later deleted the tweet and apologized.

The gop has become a caricature of itself. I saw somewhere this morning someone said the Monday night RNC was like an SNL episode.
Why pull Mendoza? Isn't she the 'heart and soul' of MAGA? Or do the MAGA people lack the guts to be up front about it?
They can't just admit it openly, that way they can continue to feign ignorance about the crazy or racist people within their own party. Qanon, Nazi's, KKK, the white supremacists and other right wing extremists are all welcome with open arms as long as they vote Republican, but Republicans will never come right out and say it or admit they actually agree with a lot of things these crazy racists say.
Her son was killed by an illegal alien, for that I'm sorry but the illegal that killed her son in a car crash was Hispanic.
Why is she promoting anti-Semitic conspiracy theories? Seems that she has a lot of hate and it's not just for illegal aliens.

I'm not spinning anything. She was removed when her anti-semtism was pointed out. Known anti- semites like Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory were given DNC speaking spots despite being removed as organizaers for the Womens March for their Antisemitism.
