Protesters are charging toward the Captiol steps. Some tried to scale the construction structures and have been tackled by police. They want to enter the building and are making attempts at intervals. Capitol police trying to hold them back.

And its obvipus how that is turning out!

Recently a lot of Covid Vaccine is being produced-- but actual immunizations are waaaay behind schedule. I was wondering why,  so I googled for information.

Well-- same problems as this one. Trump has refused to organize the effort on the federal level-- says it must be up to each state.

Which totally screwed things up.

The left are starting to get a taste of their own medicine. Seems some on the right were taking notes. But they missed the arson, assault, vandalism, murder, and theft parts that the far left Brown Shirts used.

This is their first trial run; I am sure they will get it correct with enough practice.

Notice no one on the left is cutting these protesters and their enablers the same slack they did with their own Brown Shirts (Antifa and BLM); and Democratic mayors and governors that told their police to back off.

I have said it before, "either the law applies to everyone, or no one". Seems the left is going to have to find this out the hard way.

The law only applies to some it seems; just depends on their political bent.

Wake me when they start doing real damage if you have to ask what that is look at the Federal buildings and Court House in Portland, OR. Till then these are "mostly peaceful protesters showing their anger at a process that is seeking to exclude them."

And what the fuck happened today.

What happened today should not be a surprise to anyone with a working brain. The handwriting has been on the wall for weeks. Trump has more or less alluded to this kind of coup for the past few days. And when he said he would be with them when they made their attack on the capitol, which is what it really was, Cadet Bone Spurs ran off to the WH to hide and let his brain dead supporters pay the price for what he preened them to do.

Giuliani stood before them and gave the signal for them to begin their attack and breech the Capitol, also standing back and letting the protesters pay the price for being stupid enough to believe Trump.

I could just see in my minds eye Trump sitting all safe and comfy in the WH watching the riotous action and laughing his ass off at those who believed in him so much they were willing to risk their lives to try to keep him in office that he does not rightfully possess anymore.

I have suspected this to happen ever since he refused to accept that he lost the election like a real man, which he has proved on more than one instance that he is not, and so willing to throw others under the bus and even risk their lives but not his own, to try to keep what no longer belongs to him.

He goes well beyond being a sore loser, he is a Traitor to the oath of office he took when he was sworn in as President. The only life he cares about is his and Ivanka's. And only then if she will continue to let him fondle and kiss her.

They are both sick, and Melania deserves Trump and the life he has chosen to live. I truly feel sorry for Barron, as he is innocent in the middle of it all and yet will pay the price for his last name.

And Trump should be immediately removed from office in order to prevent any further events such as this, or much worse. And Pence has the authority by the 25th Amendment to do just that.

Just my own opinion.

Not at all. Trump has been fanning the flames and inciting exactly this for months, even before the election. This was ALWAYS where this was going, it was obvious to anyone who isn't unbelievably stupid.

And Trump is loving it, this is an ego trip for him. I am sure he is actually hoping some of his supporters get seriously injured or killed, because to him that will just show how in thrall they were to him, thus boosting his ego further. He actively enjoys other people's suffering and misery, especially when it comes about in service to him.

When that happens you can kiss the US goodbye.

The left will cheer, and the right will all come out to fight. Including many in the military who will not take kindly to being asked to put down US citizens. Putin will be laughing his ass off. He didn't have to do a damn thing to destroy the US. We did it ourselves.

See what all that appeasement the left has been doing to their Brown Shirts has brought?

You think I support Trump?

Seems not being able to stand the asshole isn't enough. Not voting for him the first time around wasn't enough. Unless I follow every irrational, illegal, immoral leftist whim I am a "Deplorable". I didn't vote for Trump this time either; I voted against Democrats at every level. It was the first time ever I voted straight Republican ticket. I will never support the last 5 years of the shit they put this country through. Since I have been told voting 3rd party is a waste of a vote- and I put Trump in office by voting for Gary Johnson- it will be the lesser of two evils from now on.  Right now the Democrats are the most evil thing around.

That is the reason I don't have many friends on the left anymore. TDS has driven them around the damn bend.

When the Trump administration did something I agreed with I said so. When they didn't I said so as well.

Same thing I did with Obama, both Bushes, and Clinton.

But continue to lump me in with the Deplorables- I always like to know where I stand with everyone when push comes to shove.

The GOP lawmaker, who has been vocal about his opposition to challenging the Electoral College results, slammed the demonstrators entering the Capitol.

“This is a coup attempt,” Kinzinger posted.

The stupid delay tactics by far right Senators and House reps was interrupted by these fruit cakes.

Ask me if I care? Trump lost. I haven't disputed that once. These people are pissed. We have been shown countless times that it is OK to storm federal property and destroy it by the leftist Brown Shirts.  This is mild by comparison so far.

This is a NO WIN situation, a coup attempt by a sitting US POTUS.

No this is "mostly peaceful protestors angered by a system that they feel doesn't represent them." If you go by Democratic and media standards for BLM and Antifa.

The international cost of this is immeasurable.

Could give a fuck. You think the last five years of the Democrats, media, and the "Trump is not my President" crowd did us any favors on the international stage? Please. Trump was bad; the left was fucking worse.

XI & Putin are probably laughing their asses off.

On that we can agree on. You just happen to think they weren't laughing their asses off over the last 5 years with the shit the left was pulling. They have been laughing for a very long time; and they aren't going to stop.  XI is very pleased China, err I mean Biden, won. Biden will be "Making China Great Again" in no time.

We elected a defective moron in 2016 and are reaping the poisoned fruit of this term.

What do you mean we? I didn't vote for Trump in 2016. Once again you are ignoring the Democrats at every level that were far more toxic and disruptive than Trump.

Now dozens, maybe hundreds are being arrested for property damage and at least one possible death

A slow day at a BLM and Antifa protest.

IN THE HEART OF OUR OWN CAPITOL BUILDINGS.

Thought the left didn't give a shit about federal property, monuments, or anything else? Or is that since the right is doing the damage they suddenly care? Or is it selective federal property- since the left now thinks they own Washington DC?

Saw an update that according to his aides he doesn't want to do more. Apparently they are getting so upset with him that they wish they could throw him to the mob. I know for a fact that Trump is actually loving this. He doesn't care about the property damage or that people have already started getting hurt. If anyone dies that will be a bonus to him. He is just mentally masterbating to the fact that he has the ability to incite a riot to begin with and that he has so many people slavishly devoted to him. This is an ego trip for Donald Trump.

At least on the 20th we will have a PotUS who can behave in a presidential manner.   An individual who is trying to do what is best for the nation (per his viewpoint) rather than what is best for himself.

This also might be a good time to give some thought on security of the Capitol.   I am amazed that its security was so easily bypassed today.

I personally think the 25th needs to be invoked. Not only is this a direct result of the "POTUS" lying and fanning of the flames for months, he actively encouraged it in person this very morning. Since this all started he has been almost entirely silent, only saying or doing anything because his aides have more or less begged him. According to inside sources he himself had no intention of trying to put a stop to any of this. That is dereliction of duty in the extreme.

I don't know how any lawmakers or government employees can look at him with anything resembling respect after he failed to protect them personally but also the institutions they stand for and federal property.  He not only failed to do this, he actively encouraged this very thing and put them in danger. This is bordering on treason IMO.

I am amazed that its security was so easily bypassed today.

Agreed. The fact that the U.S. Capitol building was so easily overrun with the entirety of congress inside when everyone KNEW exactly this was a possibility? What the fuck?
