House Bill 1102, authored by Rep. Jim Olsen, R-Roland, would revoke the license for at least one year. The bill provides an exception for abortions performed to save the life of the mother, officials said.

Is it any wonder that the once Grand Old Party of Abraham Lincoln is now known merely as the gop?

Seems like repetitively typing the same thing over and over instead of trying to make an original argument  would be a depressing  waste of time. But that's just me.

It surely is not Democrats introducing all this lousy unconstitutional anti-women legislation...

I don't see what the problem is Sean. Every time he uses that statement it's to show that once again the GOP is flailing around trying to legislate their morals. The gop has given up on being a political party. the only thing they can do now is mix THIER brand of Christianity with our government. ( that's not how a party is supposed to "govern.")

Wasn't one of our members trying to argue that there is no war on women by conservatives..... Just yesterday I think.

How about now....?

Can't understand why The Patriot Act and tax cuts for the rich party give a crap about a fetus they don't know, don't want to know and will defund at the drop of a hat.

Why do the left wingers want unregulated abortion?  No age or stage of pregnancy restrictions?

Who wants that specifically? Who's proposing bills to deregulate abortion?

What do you mean by unregulated abortions? Why do they have to regulated? After all we are talking about arbitrarily taking away someone's rights in this country. Aren't conservatives supposed to be all for individual liberty and protecting peoples rights?

They seem to care more about non-existent "fetal rights" than actual women's established constitutional rights.

Why do they have to regulated?

To be fair, abortions are medical procedures and as such, are generally regulated by state, legal, and medical guidelines. I have never seen anyone propose, much less attempt to remove all regulations regarding abortion.

Sounds like the former occupant of the White House claiming that women were getting abortions up to the moment of birth, and after. . . . only Democrat women of course - sheer bullshit of course . . . but you know . . . .

Most of the anti-choice side claims about abortion or their irrational fears are BS!

Unreg6lated? Who said anything about unregulated? Except in rare circumstances terminations are only allowed during the early stages. Abortion providers are regulated out the ass. What the damn gop never seems to learn is that criminalizing abortions does not do a thing to decrease demand for abortions!

It just makes criminal of woman and their doctors.

It also ends in illegal botched back alley abortions.

Due to the success of the movie "Back to the Future", I think that because of these primitive anti-abortion laws being passed in these supposedly modern times, someone should follow up with a new movie called "Forward to the Past".  Maybe use a Ford Model T for it.

The right wing has become very totalitarian. For those that decry 'freedom', they sure as hell try to dictate how people live. With things like this, things like all the bills about voting, and I just read an article that in Tennessee, the republican legislature is putting forth bills that would make all athletes have to stand during the anthem.

How very fascist...
