'Horrendous': Ga. audit lawyer demands full investigation into Fulton County's ballot irregularities
Attorney warns that county could be "undermining the will of the people."

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

A lawyer spearheading a major ballot audit inside Georgia's largest county is warning the irregularities apparent in that county's election management are "horrendous" and cut against "the basic principle of our democracy."

Atlanta-based attorney Bob Cheeley made those claims while talking to Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon on Tuesday night's "Securing our Elections: Protecting Your Vote" special on Real America's Voice.

Cheeley is among the investigators approved by a Georgia court to audit the 2020 absentee ballots of Fulton County, Ga., a county critical to Joe Biden's historic 2020 win of Georgia that helped propel him to the White House.

Just the News in recent weeks revealed what appear to be major data discrepancies in Fulton's accounting of its absentee ballot numbers. Cheeley told Solomon on Tuesday that he and his team are working to "allow the truth to come out."

Cheeley called attention to what appeared to be instances of double-counting and double-scanning of ballots within Fulton's data, something he said "violates the basic principle of our democracy" and "smacks at the very heart of our democracy by undermining the will of the people."

He also pointed to extensive notes by an election monitor hand-picked by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger; those notes revealed the inspector's belief that "massive" election issues were playing out in Fulton County before and during the 2020 election, including double counting and serious chain-of-custody and security issues surrounding absentee ballots.

Georgia state officials "did nothing about it," Cheeley said. "So that should have raised a red flag, in my opinion, that they should have more closely scrutinized."

Asked about his degree of confidence in Fulton's election management, Cheeley called the county's performance "horrendous."

"And that's why we need an audit," he said, promising to have "10 certified document examiners lined up" to pore over the tens of thousands of absentee ballots recorded by the county.

Cheeley stressed several times that Georgia officials should have detected the errors apparent in the county's data, including what are apparently multiple instances of missing batches of absentee ballots.

"All you have to do is be able to count to see that these batches are missing," he said. "And we want to know where they are."

This wouldn't have overturned the 2020 election, however the American people know how serious these allegations are.

What is your reasoning here?    Clearly if GA had gone to Trump, Biden would still be PotUS; so this could not have affected the presidential outcome.   Thus you must be speaking of overturning only GA.   So what are the numbers behind your reasoning?   How many votes to Biden would be turned into votes for Trump if this allegation were true?

Note that missing ballots should not be presumed to be ALL for Trump; that would be irrational.

Thus you must be speaking of overturning only GA.

But I am not!

If you are really interested in my reasoning it only involves the way vote counting was handled in Fulton County. Don't we want everything done right at the polling stations? It's like when people felt I made too much of that OJ Simpson Jury. Nobody got it. There are certain things we need to be beyond reproach.

We shall see how this one turns out.

After a while this shit gets old Vic.   It is almost July, 2021 and people are still 'discovering' foul play.

Do you not see how extraordinary it would be if this —given all prior failed attempts— turned out to actually be "horrendous" as described?

So when this (almost certainly) fades away into nothingness, will you seed an article on the next new discovery?   (I predict, yes.)

It gets old and I suspect most everyone (other than R partisans) are rolling their eyes on each new 'discovery'.

Cheeley called attention to what appeared to be instances of double-counting and double-scanning of ballots within Fulton's data,

The election official in Georgia, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, said a long time ago that every vote in Georgia was hand counted, not once but twice. Are you telling us that a hand counting of the votes would not have detected a discrepancy between the number of ballots and the number of votes recorded?  Ridiculous.

Georgia has already counted the ballots by hand.

Nov 19, 2020

On Thursday, Georgia’s 159 counties finalized a hand recount , technically an audit, of the five million ballots cast in the election, reaffirming Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory but reducing his lead by more than 1,200 votes.

Georgia’s secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, had ordered the manual audit as part of a new state law to ensure the accuracy of voting machines by comparing paper ballot counts with machine tallies. This was not an official recount, though the Trump campaign can choose to request one after the state’s results are certified this week, as the vote margin between Mr. Biden and President Trump is below 0.5 percentage points.

In many counties, officials conducting the audit found zero or single-digit differences in their counts, and they will not change their original results for the state certification process. Yet at least four counties — Douglas, Fayette, Floyd and Walton — discovered missed ballots and will add these to their original counts.

Georgia Hand Recount: Where Votes Differed by County - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

Any disparity between the number of votes counted and the number of ballots cast would have shown up in the hand recount. They found a small amount of ballots that had not been originally counted , including in Trump strongholds, but did not appear to find any double counted votes.

The whole country has to suffer because a good portion of the right are conspiracy nuts.

After over a year of riots and the recent opening of the southern border, rising inflation, skyrocketing crime, the teaching of propaganda to young children and the attempted power grab by the radical left, even those who casted their vote for Joe Biden have got it.

Yawn, okay so answer me this. If the GOP in Georgia was aware of all this why in the fuck didn’t they do ANYTHING about it? Why is it 2/3 of the way through June (8 months later) and somehow only total randos and idiots who sell pillows are privy to this startling information?

Why did this fraud ONLY occur in states Trump lost, and why are we ONLY questioning the votes for the president and not the other races on the ballots? I mean, if the presidential election results in these areas are in question then logic would dictate that so are all the house/senate and state races. But for some reason (cannot possibly guess why) all those votes are totally legit, just not votes for Biden.
