BREAKING: Rudy Giuliani's law license has been suspended.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

A disciplinary body says he made "demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. For the reasons that follow, we conclude that there is uncontroverted evidence
that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts,
lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald
J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection
in 2020. These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative
that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential
election was stolen from his client. We conclude that respondent’s conduct immediately
threatens the public interest and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law,
pending further proceedings before the Attorney Grievance Committee (sometimes AGC
or Committee).

There is a lot more. 33 pages.

The Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court said Thursday they were "immediately suspending" his license, although it is an "interim" suspension, so he will have an opportunity for reinstatement.

"There is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020," the Appellate Division wrote.

Rightly so, what a dishonorable moron he turned out to be.   I still am amazed that he allowed himself to be so exploited by Trump.   How could he not know how this was going to end?

What a fool.

He should be totally disbarred, not just suspended.

I think his suspension is just the first step. He will eventually be disbarred.

Giuliani Son Andrew Rants Against Judges Who Revoked Rudy's Law License

By Rudy TakalaJun 24th, 2021, 1:53 pm 2-2 minutes   6/24/2021

Andrew-Giuliani-1200x676.jpg
Andrew Giuliani   logged in social media on Thursday to deliver an impassioned rant critical of New York’s “partisan” Supreme Court justices after they voted to suspend his father’s law license.

“All five of them are Democrats,” Giuliani said, noting that three were appointed by incumbent Gov.  Andrew Cuomo   (D). “Five to nothing, ultimately. Democrats with zero Republicans on there. This is just unbelievable to see just how politicized all of this has become.”

A panel of the court   voted   Thursday to revoke   Rudy Giuliani’s   law license for statements he made about the 2020 election in his capacity as a personal attorney to former President   Donald Trump,   writing there was “uncontroverted evidence” that Giuliani “communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large”

The younger Giuliani said he was “infuriated” and said the court was “going after one of President Trump’s closest allies,” adding, “That’s exactly what this is, And any American that doesn’t believe that — they are just biased. This is unacceptable, and I stand by my father. He did everything, ultimately, by the book.”

He also said the situation showed “disgusting” politicization within the Justice Department, calling it “a cancer that needs to be cut out.”

Nah...waste of energy. He thinks he is so very important that he can get whatever he wants because his last name is Giuliani. But, first, as his name is Giuliani people with half a brain will avoid him now like the plague. Second, he is a nobody, with no skills other than being an idiot and lying like his Father.

Yes, he is and because they have completely ruined Cuomo's chances I am really worried we will end up with that little ass wipe in office here.  Then we will be a red state (horror of horrors).

"They ruined Cuomo's chances.........?"  That story seemed to have passed on to somewhere now lost.  Seems the 'fascists' must have have tried to nail down something on the governor and forgot the nails.  Besides, I suspect the GOP's diet of worms is about to get very interesting with new issues coming to light.

You've had rep governors in the past. Pataki comes to mind. The only bad thing I can remember is he re-instated the death penalty. But since I don't live in NY I don't know what else he did.

The problem is that I do not think Cuomo will run again & that is why they backed off of the allegations.  I think when he refused to resign & asked for all the names they changed their tactic & pushed for him not to run again - I guess it is a wait and see for NYS.

Pataki was not bad, but he is no longer an example of today's Republicans.  The ones running are Trump Republicans.

He disgraced the legal profession, and, speaking as a member thereof, it takes a lot to do that.  It's no surprise that so many lawyers become politicians.  It's just that Shakespeare had it wrong, he should have written:  "The first thing we do, let's kill all the politicians."

Giuliani has been in a state of in-suspension since he joined the Trumpian Orb.  Oh well, at least he had his opportunities to ogle Ivanka's bounce a few times.
