You are comparing ongoing domestic terrorism with a 20 year old non-domestic terrorism. 9/11 was an unequaled tragedy, however by sheer numbers, domestic terrorism (primarily right wing) is rapidly out pacing it.

This whole issue is a charade. Everyone on both sides knows what happened and why, but the right has spent the last half of a year practicing how to lie with a straight face. I predict that nothing will be achieved no matter how much of a spotlight is put on the events of Jan. 6. Time to face the music - the right is engaging in a long term war to destroy our democracy. I also predict it won’t end well for anyone, but especially not for them.
