Public Schools: Petri Dishes of ‘Progressive’ Propaganda and Perversion
A warning there’s little margin for error in the education of our children. Public schools have become progressive propaganda factories. Alternatives that provide a Bible-based education (home schooling, etc.) are crucial.

The combined agendas of the progressive left elites and the secularist movement for our children through our schools is outrageous.  It’s a scandal and a complete moral perversion and deviance from what our founding fathers intended.  They are using LGBTQ political agendas along with weakening girls sports, CRT. Socialism, and the 1619 project to poison the minds of our youth in our communities.  We must fight this in our schools and state legislatures as well as school boards.  London county Va. is a great example of kids, parents, and some teachers taking a stand for what is right.  We must fight these fights and in areas they can’t be won we must resort to parent oriented charter schools, right minded private schools, and home schooling in order to pass truth to our kids and prevent the poisoning of the minds of the next generation.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

A survey of 40 premiere universities revealed shocking statistics on the Republican-Democratic makeup of faculties. Registered progressive Democrats outnumbered traditional Republicans by about 20 to 1. From college to culture, students go forth into teaching, journalism and media.

Today’s woke worldview infiltrates through many of our teachers, principals and administrators. You probably have concerns about some of the things you’ve discovered are being taught. Is it any wonder that homeschooling has surged in six months from 5.4% to 11% (U.S. Census Bureau)? It’s not just because of COVID!

My wife and I made the change decades ago when homeschooling was novel and have never regretted it! Today our adult children are informed influencers making a difference in their respective fields. Sometimes you have to lower your standard of living to improve your quality of life.

There are other Christ-honoring educational alternatives. There is too much at stake and little margin for error when it comes to your children’s future.

Martin Luther’s mandate

The titan of the millennium, Martin Luther, not only triggered the world-shaking Reformation, he targeted the priority of Christian education.

“I am much afraid that the schools will prove the very gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures and engraving them in the hearts of youth,” Luther said. “I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which means are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must be corrupt.”

Radical leftists in the Biden administration and activist organizations scoff at such a statement. The chilling reality: “Progressive” elites are controlling and changing curriculum in education. They are cleverly maneuvering to shape the thinking of a generation.

Organized and on the prowl

Here are 12 organizations injecting their ideology into instruction and assignments in your child’s classroom:

  • Chiefs for Change
  • National Education Association
  • American Civil Liberties Union
  • Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network
  • Black Lives Matter at School
  • American Federation of Teachers
  • Southern Poverty Law Center
  • Human Rights Campaign(LGBTQ)
  • The 1619 Project (revising our history)
  • Teaching for Change
  • National Association of School Boards
  • Critical Race Theory activist groups

We don’t have the luxury to assume things are basically as they were when we went to school. Children are like wet cement, and the enemy works aggressively to deceive and destroy their lives.

I highly recommend you read “Schools Under Siege” by Meg Kilgannon of the Family Research Council to grasp the gravity of this issue. Meg issues a red alert: “Even in many conservative communities, schools are enclaves of liberal orthodoxy. Radical thinking makes it very difficult for education officials to recognize dangers in the latest academic trends.”

Queer theory and Critical Race Theory

Meg lays out how the teaching of “Queer theory” and “Critical Race Theory” is undermining children in schools across America today. CRT and sex education is not simply raising awareness for better race relations and healthy sexuality.

Encyclopedia Britannica gives a clear definition of CRT:

“Critical Race” theorists hold that the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites and especially African-Americans.

Whites are “oppressors” and blacks are “oppressed,” with color not character empowering all relationships. Five hundred activated parents just flooded a Virginia school board meeting, resulting in a 7–0 decision to block all CRT.

Already 23 states have banned CRT teaching in schools. Additionally, Nebraska defeated LGBTQ activists and honored parents’ outcry blocking indoctrination of children (as young as kindergarten) in same-gender family propaganda.

Healthy human sexuality?

In the state of Washington, an elementary school teacher was discovered indoctrinating first-graders with an LGBTQ agenda. The teacher read a book written by a trans-identified reality TV star telling her story of becoming transgender and encouraging children to embrace the lifestyle.

In New York, a “Health and Wellness” educator used cartoonish material to explain self-stimulation and other sexual topics in depth. Sexually explicit curriculum provoked a parent to say, “We are in fact seeing very clearly for the first time what a ‘progressive’ education really means at our school.”

I’ve obtained two books used in many public schools, “It’s Perfectly Normal” (more than 1 million copies in print) and “It’s Elementary – Talking About Gay Issues in School.” They are graphic, unbiblical propaganda perverting young children today. Because this is a family-friendly commentary I’ll be restrained describing the abominable material.

“Whoever misleads one of these little ones who believe in Me, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung about his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).

The progressive left

I’ve been involved in vocational ministry for almost 50 years and have never witnessed such brazen activity. I’m not encouraging escapism but engaged, responsible parenting! One day we will give account.

A nationally known senior leader told me recently, “The biggest mistake I’ve made in my life was placing my children in the public schools.” Like young plants nurtured in a greenhouse until they’re strong, so too with our developing sons and daughters.

Children from ages 6 to 10 don’t have critical thinking skills, and they basically believe everything their adult teacher says, including this pernicious indoctrination. Example: “Our premise is that America was founded on and continues promoting RACISM (and if you disagree, you’re a RACIST!).”

The progressive left is working for three goals:

  1. Convey the idea that our Founding Fathers were evil white supremacists intending America be free from religion – separated by a “wall between church and state” – so any religious influence in schools must be silenced (distortion of Jefferson’s phrase).
  2. Convey the idea that the origins of our country came not from Judeo-Christian principles but rather from the ideas of a mishmash of agnostics, deists, atheists and opportunists who came here for material gain.
  3. Convince the masses that traditional America must be dismantled, our history rewritten and replaced with a new socialist system of strong government control over our lives from cradle to grave (being advanced by Biden administration currently).

Repentance, revival and reformation

If you have been passive or preoccupied with the cares and comforts of life, it’s time to repent and participate in a revival and societal reformation to preserve our faith, families and freedoms. America has been the guardian of liberty for the world and ground zero for communicating the gospel to the nations. We will not capitulate to those who are trying to poison a generation with their propaganda in our schools.

The Mayflower Compact stated the reason our forefathers came to this nation was “for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.”

The constitutions of all of the original 13 colonies acknowledged God and mandated scriptural education in the public schools. The textbook used by nearly every public school student was the McGuffey Readers, which said, “The Scriptures are especially designed to make us wise unto salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.”

Here’s the deal: Harvard’s 1636 Student Guideline stated, “Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life and therefore to lay Christ as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning.”

May we consecrate ourselves to this end as we protect and pray for our children.

“O Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of these years make them known; in wrath remember mercy” (Habakkuk 3:2).

FOX sucked Trump's dick for 5 years and lead all ratings.  Trump lost an election.

CNN taunted Trump for 5 years and lost half their ratings.  Trump lost an election.

Seems that voters made the final decision,

What a ridiculous chart.  Notice how differently they treat Fox compared to CNN and MBFC.

How is it ridiculous, when they aren’t really counterparts?

The important thing to note is that the sources commonly used at NV, and all over Facebook, and somewhat less often here at NT are rated “unfair interpretation of the news”, or “nonsense damaging to public discourse”. Those include Huffpo, The Daily Kos, Alternet, Palmer Report, Buzzfeed, and Occupy Democrats.  So feel free to point that out when such sources are used.  Of course they also include Daily Wire, Daily Caller, Newsmax, Breitbart and Infowars, so best not to use such sources if one wishes to be taken seriously.

CNN’s fall from grace to the “unfair interpretation of the news”, is also interesting.  I suggest starting with the AP or Reuters first for a less bias look at the news and then if one feels it is necessary to consider other opinions about the news one can look at those lower on the chart but at least be honest about the bias/bent and check out both left and right sides as you descend on the chart.  Local news reports such at Border Report, or scientific journals or trade publications are also good sources of factual information not tainted by partisan rhetoric/bias.

Indeed.  As are they important for folks like us who blog and discuss matters in the news so that we can avoid looking like a fool for citing a source that is unreliable or even somewhat unreliable.  Although, I would like to think that most folks could read these sources and detect a strong bias bent, without consulting a chart like this, and at least think to themselves, "Hmmmm. Before I quote this, perhaps I should do my due diligence and check other sources as well."

That is not to say that some of those sources could get something right on occasion that can indeed be corroborated by other sources.  Even a broken clock is right twice a day.  jrSmiley_82_smiley_image.gif

The Real Clear Group is a right wing group that sometimes posts material from non right wingers. I would not consider a chart produced by them to be sufficiently unbiased to be taken all that seriously.

According to a 2019 piece by  Center for Media and Democracy , "RealClear Foundation has been funded by right-wing megadonors for years." [6]

RealClear Media Group - SourceWatch

Kevin Poulsen and Maxwell Tani, "RealClear Media Has a Secret Facebook Page to Push Far-Right Memes" , Daily Beast , October 8, 2019, accessed March 27, 2020.

The other name mentioned as producing the chart, the American Council On Science and Health is a group that has a history of promoting the safety of various petrochemicals and defending the industry from consumer criticism.

In 2017, 26 health, environmental, labor and public interest groups sent a letter to  USA Today , asking them to "refrain from publishing further columns authored by members of the American Council on Science and Health, or at the very least require that the individuals identify the organization accurately as a corporate-funded advocacy group". Praise Jesus. /s

Says the classy christian gentleman who incessantly calls Harris a 'ho' because her boyfriend Willie Brown opened doors for her 25 years ago and who has ignored her professional career successes since.   (I do not even like Harris.)

I have asked you , many times, to answer questions about your distorted history of the United States and you have not answered any of them.

That is because you rarely if ever know what you are talking about.  You are an adult who knows very little about American history but you want to complain about teachers.

I know about it.  My AA degree and the bulk of my 4 yr. degree is in history.  I deleted foreign language required for a BA in History and replaced it with Economics, Psychology, and Sociology, and a BS in Social Science.  Disagreeing with you is not a lack of knowledge on my part

When are you going to display any of that knowledge?

Your lack of understanding American history as displayed on this forum has been appalling.

They know a lot of really great factual information.  They are an awesome pro traditional family Christian group that takes the literalist position on sexual behaviors, marriage, traditional nuclear families, and life.  Their positions on all these issues and mine are largely one and the same.  I’m proud and wear with a badge of honor the wrong and inflammatory libelous SPLC label that group has and wear it with pride as mine.

SPLC keeps Christian group on 'hate map' 9 years after terrorist attack

Jerry Boykin says, 'SPLC remains aggressively anti-Christian and morally bankrupt'

Tyler O'Neil1 day ago

Nine years after a terrorist attempted mass murderer using the Southern Poverty Law Center's "hate map" to target the Christian non-profit Family Research Council (FRC) in Washington, D.C., the SPLC continues to list FRC on its "hate map."

"Nothing speaks to the SPLC's inhumanity as much as its behavior after the shooting at FRC. Rather than remove the map used by a terrorist to attempt to kill dozens of people, the SPLC doubled down and even expanded its list to include other non-violent conservative, Christian and parent organizations who opposed the SPLC’s political agenda," Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin, executive vice president at FRC, told Fox News.

Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021 marks the ninth anniversary of the attempted shooting, and FRC remains on the "hate map." Former staffers have claimed that the SPLC uses the "hate group" label to exaggerate hate in a fundraising scheme. Critics say the SPLC brands mainstream conservative and Christian organizations "hate groups," placing them on a list with truly hateful organizations like the Ku Klux Klan. A former SPLC spokesman even said, "Our aim in life is to destroy these groups, completely destroy them."

CHRISTIAN MINISTRY'S CASE IS ‘PERFECT’ FOR THE SUPREME COURT TO REVISIT NYT V. SULLIVAN, LAWYER SAYS

While the spokesman clarified that he wanted to "mortally embarrass these groups" in a "political struggle," one deranged man appears to have interpreted that mission more literally.

On Aug. 15, 2012, a man named Floyd Lee Corkins came into FRC armed with a 9 mm pistol, two ammunition clips of 15 rounds, the rounds in his gun and a box of 50 additional rounds. He also carried 15 individually-wrapped Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches.

"He was not puffing things up when he told the investigators that he intended ‘to kill as many people as [he] could,’" Boykin, a former member of the Delta Force who was involved in the "Black Hawk Down" incident, told Fox News.

The Southern Poverty Law Center's "hate map" continues to list FRC.

"He shot our building manager, Leo Johnson, shattering the major bones of his left arm. Even after taking a bullet, Leo heroically tackled the shooter, putting a stop to what would have been a mass murder," Boykin recalled. "We will remain forever grateful for God’s intervention that day and for ‘Leo the hero.’"

Corkins later pleaded guilty to committing an act of terrorism. A judge sentenced him to 25 years in prison.

"But how did this would-be assassin fix on the Family Research Council as his target?" Boykin asked. "Corkins told FBI investigators that he used the website of the Southern Poverty Law Center to identify FRC on SPLC’s so-called ‘hate map.’"

"It was — Southern Poverty Law lists anti-gay groups," Corkins says in an FBI interrogation video.

"It is the intention of the SPLC to fix animus and hostility on the organizations it places on its hate map," Boykin argued. He noted that the SPLC has added conservative and Christian organizations to the "hate map," notably including Alliance Defending Freedom – a Christian law firm that has won multiple Supreme Court cases – in 2016. The SPLC even branded Dr. Ben Carson an "extremist," only to retract the label while doubling down on criticizing his defense of traditional marriage.

Boykin also noted the racial discriminationand sexual harassment scandal that led to a devastating reckoning in 2019: the firing of co-founder Morris Dees, the resignation of President Richard Cohen and the promise of an internal review, the results of which have yet to become public

In August 2019, the SPLC doubled down on its "hate group" accusation against FRC. The SPLC claimed that FRC engages in "demonizing rhetoric about the LGBTQ community."

FRC responded by emphasizing that "every person, no matter who they are sexually attracted to, is created in the image and likeness of God" and therefore is "equal in value and dignity and must be treated with respect." FRC does not believe that sexual attraction defines a person, so the idea that homosexual activity is sinful does not involve a degradation of dignity.

In 2017, the Christian ministry D. James Kennedy Ministries (DJKM) – which the SPLC also brands a "hate group" – sued the SPLC for defamation. Courts tossed the suit based on the actual-malice standard from the Supreme Court case New York Times v. Sullivan (1964), a standard that justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch have urged the court to reconsider. On Friday, DJKM decided to appeal the case to the Supreme Court, specifically challenging that standard.

Boykin predicted that the SPLC would never remove FRC from its "hate map."

"There has been no change to the hate map nor will there be. Today’s SPLC remains aggressively anti-Christian and morally bankrupt – both inside and out," Boykin declared.

The SPLC did not respond to Fox News' request for comment.

The Family Research Council is a great group of awesome Christian Americans who defend core American traditional values and the nuclear family.  They take stands to defend the family, the church, and the nation.  I am proud to stand tall with the Family Research Council as well as the American Family association and Concerned women for America and Alliance Defending Freedom as great organizations that I stand with and endorse in the totality of their missions. Ideologically and theologically I am them and they are me.

Don't parents teach their kids anything any longer?  Parents have more influence over their own children than the social engineers want people to believe.

IMO there's not a more effective way to revive the worst aspects of racism than what is happening in schools today.  Parents will teach their own lessons to their own children.  And those lessons won't be flattering or permissive or liberal.
