Former President Donald Trump on Monday announced the court ruled in his favor in Stormy Daniels' libel lawsuit against him and she will have to pay him nearly $300,000 as a result.
Trump announced the win on Twitter through his spokeswoman Liz Harrington.
"The 9th Circuit just issued a final ruling in the Stephanie Clifford (aka Stormy Daniels) frivolous lawsuit case against me brought by her disgraced lawyer, Michael Avenatti, upholding the lower court ruling that she owes me nearly $300,000 in attorney fees, costs, and sanctions (not including appeal costs)," Trump wrote.
Daniels filed several lawsuits against the former president and his attorney Michael Cohen in 2018. She claimed in one lawsuit that Trump defamed her in a tweet.
"As I have stated many times throughout the years, I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I ever have wanted to. The ruling was a total and complete victory and vindication for, and of me," he said.
"The lawsuit was a purely political stunt that never should have been started, or allowed to happen, and I am pleased that my lawyers were able to bring it to a successful conclusion after the court fully rejected her appeal," he said. "Now all I have to do is wait for all of the money she owes me."
The court originally ordered Daniels to pay Trump nearly $300,000 at the end of last year, but Trump said the ruling now is final.
He added in his statement, "P.S. The Fake News probably won't report this story!"
Avenatti was found guilty last month of cheating Daniels out of money from a book deal. He received a two and a half year sentence in July for extorting millions of dollars from Nike.

She is suing her former lawyer Avenatti. Pretty sure she stands a good chance of winning with all the horrendous legal advice he gave her; and the amount he overcharged her. He doesn't have any money left either; but maybe he can work it off in prison?

Well she did get paid $130,000 to stay quiet about letting Trump fuck her so that's almost half right there...
There was also $800,000 for her book deal though apparently Avenatti stole almost all of that money.

We know for a fact he abused his charitable trust just like Michael Cohen said he did.

We know his organization has been charged with tax fraud and is still under investigation for bank fraud with multiple indictments and arrests, just like Michael Cohen said. Seems entirely possible that he's right about Trump writing off the $150,000 to McDougal and the $130,000 to Daniels on his taxes under some fake expense reports.
I'm really curious as to why any rational human would give a serial liar and monumental narcissist the benefit of the doubt. Are there any conservatives who would trust Trump not to screw them over or throw them under the bus if doing so was in Trumps best interest? Can anyone really claim Trump has any moral standards? And if not, what does that say about the supposed religious conservatives who continue to stand with him?

You say that just about every day. The 2020 election was a close one. Biden won 25 states, the District of Columbia, and one congressional district in Nebraska, totaling 306 electoral votes. Trump won 25 states and one congressional district in Maine, totaling 232 electoral votes. That is not in any way a landslide.
