Handcuffing Israel
Today’s 2:15 p.m. situation room meeting comes after Biden had what he called a “very direct” conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday in which he indicated the assassination undercut his efforts to bring an end to the war on Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. “It’s not helped,” Boiden said at Joint Base Andrews Thursday. “We had the basis for a ceasefire. He should move on it and should move on it now.” The phone call was described as tense by Israel’s...

Historians will one day try to understand when it exactly started. Was it Obama's effort to change the trajectory of America or was it Joe Biden's blatant embrace of far-left ideology. It can be now argued that US policy under democrat leadership regards the Palestinians as an oppressed people, just as a Marxist perspective would conclude. America's closest ally and the only democracy in the middle east is now regarded as the oppressor and Iran is to be treated as a respected sovereign entity.

Joe Biden has been stalling all kinds of military aid to Israel, not just the 200lb bombs, but items that are important for Israeli defense. Beyond that Biden has allowed antisemitism to be unlashed in the US, the like of which has never been seen before. This antisemitism has been brewing in universities over time. Some of the demonstrations have been funded by Iran. He has indicated that he doesn't like the elected Prime Minister of Israel. On the other hand, I don't recall him denouncing the radical Islamists who run Iran and ferment all the violence in the middle east. It can be argued that Biden's policy has been a green light for Iran and its proxies.

In May, it was revealed that the Biden administration had put a hold on 1,800 2,000-pound bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs. The hold came as a result of a review of "proposed transfers of particular weapons to Israel that might be used in Rafah" in Gaza where the administration was actively discouraging a ground invasion by Israel.

The delay in weapons shipments further goes against the will of Congress, they pointed out. Earlier this year, lawmakers passed a $95 billion supplemental foreign aid package with assistance for Israel, Ukraine and the Indo-Pacific.

Republicans lambaste Biden for Israel weapons delays: 'Stop accommodating Iran' (yahoo.com)

Congress has provided weapons to Israel. Joe Biden (the dictator) has violated the empowerment act by holding up the shipments of weapons.

Just one more reason to vote out this insidious ideology in November.

In the news:

Bangladesh’s prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, resigned and went to the airport as protesters stormed her official residence. The army chief said an interim government would be formed.

An Israeli airstrike on a shelter in Gaza City killed at least 30 people (human shields) according to Palestinian media outlets. Israel said it had targeted Hamas command centers.

International airlines have suspended flights to Israel ahead of expected attacks by Iran and Hezbollah.

Israel's reservists are exhausted. That has made Israeli officials hesitant to launch an all-out war against Hezbollah, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Disgruntled citizens attacked a hotel in northern England that has housed asylum seekers.

The storm Debby strengthened to a Hurricane and is expected to hit Florida today.

Good morning.

Today I recall a character from the old neighborhood. One who devoted his time and money to betting on Baseball streaks (winning or losing streaks.) Once a team won or lost 3 in a row, he would bet on/against the team until the streak was broken and by then hope to end up with a profit.

The Chicago White Sox have lost twenty straight games, the longest losing streak in the M.L.B. since the 1980s.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday said that Iran’s breakout time – the amount of time needed to produce enough weapons grade material for a nuclear weapon – “is now probably one or two weeks” as Tehran has continued to develop its  nuclear program .

The assessment marks the shortest breakout time that US officials have ever referenced and comes as Iran has taken steps in recent months to boost its production of fissile material.

“Where we are now is not in a good place,” the top US diplomat said at the Aspen Security Forum Friday.

Blinken says Iran’s nuclear weapon breakout time is probably down to 1-2 weeks | CNN Politics

A shocking comment is what came out of Jamie Raskin's mouth:

Even if voters unquestionably elect Donald Trump as President, no matter the margin, and even if the election is universally accepted as free and fair, top Democrats are calling on Congress to block certification of the results, and prep for civil war. The party of democracy intends to use the 14th Amendment to disqualify Trump if he wins.

Wow, that is quite the rant, I didn't say you had to be a minority to see how parties treated minorities, although your history of it stops in the 1950s. Unwilling or is it unable to accept the fact that the parties changed positions on civil rights starting in the late 1940s?

I still say he should show up to the ABC debate ready to go. While the debate may have been agreed to with Biden, it no longer really matters. Without Harris setting down for an actual interview and having to directly answer questions, Trump needs to go to the debate to quiz her on the positions she backed just a few short weeks ago.

So what, the Proud Boys were never going to vote for her.

The group she is concerned with is CAIR, a Hamas loving group based in the US, which she has pandered to.

It is not difficult here to discern the hater from the hated: Just days after CAIR issued its report, Malik Faisal Akram pursued  CAIR's antisemitic agenda  by entering a Texas synagogue with a gun. In a  speech  delivered to a Muslim audience in November, the executive director of CAIR's San Francisco office, Zahra Billoo, identified "Zionist synagogues" like Congregation Beth Israel and all "polite Zionists"—essentially all Jews—as "your enemies," both Islamophobic and opposed to "human rights." Billoo further advised those listening and watching to "fight back."
