Back to the Walz
“I would like to first of all say thank you to Imam. I am a teacher, so when I see a master teacher, I know it,” Walz said in the clip.

Link to quote: Tim Walz once praised Muslim cleric who promoted Hitler, later refused to condemn Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, as a ‘master teacher’ (msn.com)

When Kamala Harris chose the most radical candidate she could find for her vp, she couldn't have done a bigger favor for the Trump campaign. It seems to be the gift that keeps giving from the tightly controlled Harris campaign. Not only did Walz allow a police station to be burned to the ground during the 2020 riots and not only did he embellish his military service, but it now seems that he gave praise to a radical Islamist militant.

D emocratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz once praised an alleged extremist Muslim cleric who previously touted Hitler — and more recently refused to condemn the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks — as a “master teacher,” newly resurfaced video shows.

Walz, 60, has come under fire after the footage, uncovered by the Washington Examiner on Tuesday, showed the two-term Minnesota governor speaking highly of Muslim cleric Imam Asad Zaman back in 2018.

“I would like to first of all say thank you to Imam. I am a teacher, so when I see a master teacher, I know it,” Walz said in the clip.

“Over the time we’ve spent together, one of the things I’ve had the privilege of is seeing the things in life through the eye of a master teacher to try and get the understanding, listening today to the stories and what it means.”

Walz, who made the remarks as he was introducing the Islamic leader at an event hosted by the Muslim American Society of Minnesota during his first gubernatorial campaign, went on to describe some of the lessons Zaman had taught him.

“It was a lesson when imam told me to go speak to people,” Walz said in the video, adding that Congress often “feeds on fear more than hope” and “division.”

“I have pushed back through my whole career on the demonization of Islam, on the demonization of immigrants,” he continued. “In this space, Imam Zaman is right on this, there is Islamophobia, there is a hatred that is being stirred."

Walz has faced backlash over his past history with the Islamic leader (pictured) after it emerged Zaman had taken to Facebook in 2015 to promote a neo-Nazi propaganda film that praises Adolf Hitler. Star Tribune via Getty Images

Walz has been ripped over his past history with the Islamic leader after it emerged Zaman had taken to Facebook in 2015 to promote a  neo-Nazi propaganda  film that praises Adolf Hitler — three years before he was praised by the Democrat.

The newly resurfaced footage was shared just days after it was revealed that Walz had repeatedly hosted the Muslim cleric and doled out more than $100,000 in funding to Zaman’s Muslim American Society of Minnesota non-profit over the years.

Meanwhile, it has also since emerged that Zaman pledged “unwavering support” for Palestinians in the wake of the Oct. 7 terror attack.

“MAS reaffirms its unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation,” Zaman in a Facebook post immediately after the bloodshed erupted.

“Israel’s recent unprovoked attacks on Palestinian areas have claimed numerous lives … We call on the US government … to exert maximum pressure on Israel to respect Palestinian lives.”

Tim Walz once praised Muslim cleric who promoted Hitler, later refused to condemn Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, as a ‘master teacher’ (msn.com)

Didn't they even vet Walz?  Or did they think the dishonest media would simply cover for them?

As the Harris campaign quietly posts comments stating that Kamala Harris has had a major reversal in her past policies, it may be worth while for the Trump campaign to take note of what Harris has done since she was awarded the democrat nomination for president:

1) She boycotted Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech before congress.

2) She backed Biden's Court packing scheme

3) She chose the radical walz to be her running mate.

In other news:

A Hamas official said that the group would not attend cease fire talks scheduled for Thursday.

The United Automobile Workers union, which has endorsed Harris, and is little more than an extension of the democrat party has filed a lawsuit claiming that Trump and Musk have violated a federal law against firing workers threatening to go on strike. We are right back to every entity of the left trying to smear Trump. Shades of 2020.

Whoever hacked the Trump campaign (Iran is suspected) leaked the material to Politico, The New York Times and The Washington Post. The three "news" organizations confirmed that they received the hacked information.

A top police officer and ally of controversial Dolton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyard was indicted Monday by a federal grand jury on bankruptcy fraud charges.

A man broke into a Trump campaign office in Virginia over the weekend.

Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, a progressive member of the “squad” who has criticized Israel, beat a moderate democrat in her radical district primary.

A robot server.

Last year I took a big road trip and doing the whole touristy thing I stopped in at Wall Drug up in South Dakota for a break, gas & some food. They had the robot servers to bring the plates out from the kitchen but I had to laugh as they also had a waitress follow the robot to lift the plates off the robot onto the table. Seemed to defeat the entire process of automation but what the heck...

I will take under consideration what the Iman said in 2018 and what the governor praised regarding the Iman. And, like most people, he shall, shall, be given plenty opportunity to explain himself in his own terms (if he chooses). Of course, the 'Republicans' trying to conflate a 2018 'master teacher' reference and up to $100,000 in Muslim non-profit services with October 2023 massacre in Israel is a bridge to far. And Trumpists will make noise about it. They will not be left alone to it, nevertheless!

Notice that not one can contest Walz support for a radical Islamist who praised the Nazis.

From CNN's Article

(Emphasis is mine)

Zaman also told CNN on Tuesday that he does not have a “personal relationship” with Walz. When asked about the antisemitic Facebook posts, Zaman said in an email that he sometimes shares links on social media “without fully looking at them.”

“People, myself included, will sometimes pass along social media items without fully looking at them. I support organizations, leaders and efforts to bring greater justice, equality and wellbeing to all people whether Muslim or Jewish, Christian or Hindu, believer or atheist. Desiring harm to people is against my faith and my personal convictions ,” he said.

Asked about his opinion of the Harris-Walz campaign’s stance on the Israel-Hamas war, Zaman said he was “unclear on what their stance is” but added that he hopes to see “an immediate end to the enormous human suffering and devastation this war is causing.”

As governor, Walz and members of his staff have hosted and appeared alongside Zaman on multiple occasions, including a meeting as recently as  last year  about a spike in security concerns at local mosques. Zaman  joined  Walz and other Minnesota elected officials at a news conference calling for the end of the federal government shutdown in January 2019. He delivered an  invocation  along with other faith leaders ahead of Walz’s annual State of the State address later that year. Walz and Zaman both spoke at a  news conference   featuring Minnesota elected officials and community faith leaders calling for protesters to act peacefully following the killing of George Floyd in May 2020.

In the 2018 video, Walz says he spoke to Zaman after a  2017 bombing  of a mosque in Bloomington, Minnesota, and separately discussed with Zaman US policy toward Syrian refugees under the Trump administration and growing instances of Islamophobia at that time.

“To be very honest, in this space, Imam Zaman is right on this. There is Islamophobia. There is a hatred that is being stirred. There are people in leadership positions that are making this situation worse,” Walz says in the video.

I am 99.9% positive that Walz is not guilty of either antisemitism or Islamophobia, and the tenth of a percent is just a placeholder. As with all information, context is very important. Your article makes it sound like he knew and condoned everything the Imam has done.

Just watch the entire video . This is not a monster. This is a good man. And the woman standing behind him is from the White Earth Nation of the Ojibwe. Both were speaking on the need to come together as a community.

How horrible to think that politicians want to bring us together rather than drive us apart. /s

Or the Israelis.

This seemingly intractable problem has two sides that neither of which realistically can say they are for peace because of the conflation of religion and government creating two supposedly monolithic masses of different character, pitted against each other.

Give up the religion, or at least throw away the people who say that the "Only way" to whatever is to follow them. Then they can become citizens of the middle east. Look at how well those "only way" people have done. The citizenry of the Middle East do not need them. The "Only Way" people are interested in cultivating power and influencing everybody they can. They don't do it by uniting, they do it by sowing hatred, fear, and prejudice. A lot like Trump and the current batch of kiss-ass used-to-be Republicans.

Well, I have to admit that Jews do have somewhat of a problem living with those of other religions whose religions dictate that Jews need to be killed,  The Koran commands the Muslims to find the Jews and kill them and their Imams remind them that The Day of Judgment will not come until they fight the Jews and kill them, and then there are the sects of Christianity that believe that all Jews will die at "The End of Times".  Times have been a little tough for Jews over the years - being blamed for the Black Plague, and having to survive The Inquisition, The Holocaust, and being attacked on all fronts in Israel.

Why the hell should she agree to do that?  Especially with such an amoral freakshow.

Conversation?  So it wasn't an 'interview' after all.  Shocker!

WHat is the difference, she is afraid to do either a conversation or an interview.  Heaven forbid she is asked questions on previous policy disasters and future policies if she becomes president.

'So Musk is running a superpac and directly coordinating with the candidate for an interview on X and during that 'interview' explicitly endorses the candidate.'

So, election laws never applied to this candidate, the former 'president' convicted felon and rapist.  I keep forgetting that he is held to no standards whatsoever.  Silly me!

Unethical? What makes them unethical? You have not seen them, if they even exist.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WPMI) —   Secretary of State Wes Allen says 3,251 people who are here legally in the country but not U.S. citizens have somehow been able to register to vote in Alabama, which is against the law.

In a red-state. Oh, for shame. Allegedly, 'locking down' voter registration, designed to control minorities and other marginalized communities voting conduct, has its flaws.

"It's a federal offense to register to vote if you're not a legal citizen,” said Allen. “So, yeah, there could be criminal prosecutions.”  - the Seed.

No one can ascertain whom the alleged 'offenders' would vote for in the fall as of this reading. It could be some republicans, democrats, or third party set of candidates.

He's a republicon, don't trust him.

Then those folks should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if it's illegal for them to vote then!
