Assessing the interview
"I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020—that I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking."

Yesterday, after hiding from the media since being anointed as the democrat presidential nominee, Kamala Harris finally sat down for an interview which lasted 27 minutes. Let me start with
Anchor Dana Bash. She did ask the logical pertinent questions, though there were some softballs and a multiple-choice question thrown in. She did the required follow ups and therefore

I have to give her a B .

GWMfJTuWUAApDYH?format=jpg&name=small

As for Harris, she was better prepared than she has ever been, though she did a lot of deflecting and told some outright lies. Bash asked Harris about her stand on banning fracking in 2019.  Harris responded with this whopper:

"I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020—that I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking."

Can anyone find me where Harris specifically said that in 2020?

To her credit Bash came back with follow-ups on that one. Up until recently, Harris was committed to abolishing fossil fuel and banning fracking.

Harris was short on specifics and loaded with deflection like when she alluded to her proposal of $25,000 for first-time homebuyers. Bash followed up with: "After 3-½ years in office, why haven’t you done that already?"

Harris said that although she had changed her positions, she hasn't changed her values. That was a clear wink to the far left that once elected, she would return to her radical agenda.

Harris gets an F.

Finally, there was her radical vp who was asked about his claim that Trump would institute a national abortion ban. Trump has never called for a national abortion ban, saying that decision-making should be left to the states. Walz deflected. He also deflected when asked about comments he previously made about carrying "weapons of war," despite having not seen open combat when deployed in Italy in 2003 as part of America's war on terror, which was mainly fought in Afghanistan. Walz responded that he "struggles with grammar."

DANA: "You had said that you and your wife used IVF but it turned out you used a different kind of fertility in order to have children."

WALZ: "I certainly own my mistakes when I make em.. I think people know who I am."

Walz gets an F.

In other news:

Israel’s major West Bank raid killed 17 people, most of whom, if not all were militants.

Venezuelan gangs have taken over apartment buildings in Colorado, robbing apartments and charging rents.

Honduras will terminate its extradition treaty with the US.

New York City’s transit authority is addressing fare evasion as more and more people are jumping the turnstiles rather than paying the fares. NYC is now a lawless city.

"The city and Aurora Police Department, as we previously stated, established a special task force in collaboration with other local, state and federal partners to specifically address concerns about Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) and other criminal activity affecting migrant communities...."

It's not like the city isn't all over this, they have a special task force.

I was watching part of a rally or whatever it is he is doing, the former 'president' convicted felon and rapist was just talking. rambling, ranting, really low key, that Kamala doesn't care about this, Kamala doesn't care about that, Kamala doesn't care about you, essentially projecting, as usual.  Face sweating and really low key, standing there, mumbling about Kamala.  The only time it raised its' voice was to yell some garbage about allowing children to have sex change operations.  I couldn't stomach anymore after that - and a random comment about abortion at any time even after the child is born.  He's insane.

What a ranting raving mumbling stupid lying loser.

I don’t know if you caught Ari Melbur’s interview with Corey Lewandowski the other night, but it reminded me of your regular accusation that the media is too lenient on the biggest buffoon in US political history DT.  It was so unlike Ari, but at one point in their dialogue he actually alluded that Trump “did fine in his debate with Joe Biden”.  The takedown of Lewandowski was epic, but that comment turned my stomach.  Saying Trump did fine in any debate is the equivalent of handing him a participation trophy.

Without a cult following and a timid media behind him, Trump would be considered one of the worst presidents as public speaker in American history.  His speech is always off kilter at best. He emphasizes the wrong words in a sentence, repeats himself constantly, even within a single sentence or thought. He is objectively terrible.

But he has had  political success so some people butter up his obvious failings as a speaker.

"Dana, I think the — the — the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed. You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed, and I have worked on it, that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.
We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act. We have set goals for the United States of America and by extension the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as an example. That value has not changed." -- Kamala Harris

The media rarely (and NEVER here) indicates how many were militants.  They only say "Palestinians", and If they possibly can, they will accentuate how many were children.  They'll do whatever they possibly can to create Israel-hatred and antisemitism.

She gave Trump some stuff but didn't pull a Biden and fatally wound her candidacy.  Not that you'd be able to tell from the pre written paeans to Harris  from the same Biden cheerleaders who swore up and down about how sharp Biden was until he got stabbed in the back by the Pelosi mafia.

I doubt you'll see Harris do many more of these unless she gets really desperate.  She's simply not an effective communicator which is why she's been refusing to do any media for weeks upon weeks. .
